| The Beginners Wheelie | ||||||||||||||||||
| 1. No clutch action. By doing this, you have less to think about and/or get wrong. Remember keep it simple stupid. 2. Drive at a constant speed in first gear with the RPM at 8000. This should require about 1/8 throttle turn. 3. For a fraction of a second, crank the throttle to 1/2 and return to 1/8 throttle turn. 4. Immediately after flipping the throttle and while the front wheel is loaded up with weight ( caused by the engine power cut-back), apply rapid full throttle- and I said full throttle 5. Control your wheel height with the throttle. 6. I suggest a range between 10-12000 RPM (you figure it out - enjoy!) |
