Doctors dont know alot about PCOS which might explain why women like myself often arent believed when we say something is wrong with us. It took me two years to finally convince a doctor that my weight gain shouldn't be blamed on my eating habits, but a problem out of my control. Since none of the treatments currently available treat all symptoms of PCOS, we are always happy when new research is being done.
