Chanson du Coeur
The water laps at its base and the mountain
of ice looms magnificently for all the world
to see.  Its surfaces reflecting a lifetime of
all that the environment has done to affect
its form.  We marvel at it, in awe.
Yet hidden below the water line, in the
tranquil and private world below the surface,
lies its true body .... its heart.  This is the part
that is rarely explored because so much
attention is paid to the obvious.  This is
where the core lies, the integral element, that
life has repeatedly layered upon to fashion
       the final form.
You and I are the adventurers in this quest
between us to find what lies below the surface.
Delve deeper with me, the rewards evident in
the treasures we have uncovered so far.
I love you Christopher Carl Robert.
       Yours always, all ways.
       Linde
