The City of Baguio

Known to many as "The Summer Capital of the Philippines", also known as "The City of Pines". A very popular foreign and local tourist attraction,with cool, crisp weather accompanied by breathtaking, spectacular, panoramic views that makes every visitors come and come over and over again.. But don't take my word for it.. Come see and visit it for yourself.

 

You can also take the bus. Prices ranges from P200 to 270 Pesos on regular buses, air conditioned busses is P270 Pesos (between $4.18 to $5.65 US Dollars).Travel time is 6- 7 hrs.from Manila to Baguio.

Access by air, the Asian Spirit flies daily from Manila to Loakan Airport. Its about 50 minutes flight. Round-trip fare is about $36.62 dollars and $32.39 one way.

Baguio City Tourist spots

Summer Capital of the Philippines. It is about 5000 ft. above sea level. It stretches 49 sq. kilometer over the plain, slopes and valley that make the terrain. Known for its cool crisp climates. Baguio is about 10 degrees cooler on average on any month of the year that in lowlands. Average temperature is 20° Celsius.

Access to the City coming from Metro Manila, one can use the road or by air.

The city can be reached through 3 main access roads from three towns of the province of La Union;

1. Kennon Road from Rosario (as seen on the picture)

2. Marcos Highway from Agoo

3. Naguilian Road from Bauang
