Dee and Zia on holiday Our short holiday started of very well *smile*. Zia went to Dee's home on Thursday afternoon. We spent the evening chatting with our friends in #40+ and we had a surprised visit from one of the male chatters, well not without turning his arm. (Hope he didn't expected more than what we gave him .... lol), but after explaining how pirch worked, browsing #40+ website and a glass of red wine, our visitor left at 01h00am (R.S.A. Time). Dee and Zia spend another hour or so chatting ... by the way ... we adopted the name "the terrible twins" and went to bed at about 03h00am. We woke at 06h45am on Friday morning, got dresses etc. and off we went. When we entered Johannesburg, we decided to have coffee with another chatter who thinks Zia is a mean "bitch" hehehehe .... poor him (maybe it's because Zia ignored him when he tried to cyber her ... hehehehe, just joking. Zia thinks he is so jealous about #40+ 'cause his channel didn't work out that well. "Shame" Anyhow we had coffee with him and his wife and he was quite surprised that Zia had the nerve to visit his house ... lol ... see if Zia cares. On our way to Durban we stopped by at the smallest church in South Africa, might even be the smallest in the universe "lol". There is only place for eight people to sit down. Dee decided that "if" ever she gets married again, she would want to tie the knot in this little church.
Well that was the visit to the smallest Church in South Africa. We arrived in Durban at about 4ish Friday afternoon and guess what, we did our first shopping at Apples (cheep cheep prizes on quality clothing). We stayed on the 9th floor with a beautiful view. The sound of the waves was so close as if we were right there on the beach. After unpacking etc. we went out to have something to eat and yeah came back and had a lovely evening with all of you. Hehehe jip the pc went down to Durbs with us. On Saturday we had a quiet but full day. Went shopping again *smile*. Dee took Zia to a market place with the most beautiful brass ornaments. Zia got a beautiful ornament from Dee, that also reveal Zia's passion for dolphins. Dee also got one for herself.
Saturday night we once again spent the evening with you lovely people .... chatting. Sunday was a day to remember. We went off to the toweling shop and we decided give our bathrooms a make over. Those pic's will follow soon "lol". The color, well that stays our secret for now ..... hehehe. We spend Sunday morning on the beach. The beach was packed with bathers and we managed to get al small spot.
Two "hunks" arrived on the beach sitting not far from us. They only had a red towel ant their surfboards with them. They sat a while and and went of to surf, leaving their red towel behind.
In the meantime we decided to bring the towel closer to us hehehehe not realizing their was more than just the towel. They came back after an hour or so, looking quiet surprised that the towel wasn't where they left it. We told them that we hope they didn't mind but we moved the towel a little closer for there was thieves wondering around on the beach and bathers has been warned that the must look after their personal belongings. They didn't mind ........ lol .........but ............ their car keys were buried underneath the towel in the sand. We couldn't remember exactly where the towel was. Dee giggled and Zia stood up to help in the search for keys. We walked part of the sand almost ankle deep heheheh .... yip..... we got the keys eventually ... what an embarrassing moment. Well one of the hunks was still smiling and he posed for a pic .... wow ... if just ... if just he wasn't that young.
We took some photo's of the boats that came in and out of the harbour.
Dee enjoying the sea ... Zia ..... nope thank you ... the beach is much more adorable .. lol Little incidents ... nothing serious ... *lmao* Well I don't think I must mention on which day's these little incidents happened. ... he he, anyhow, Dee decided to color her hair one morning. Zia had a bath that specific morning and Dee asked me to leave the water in the tub. She would use my bathwater to rinse her hair. Now in front of the bath, that's now on the tiled floor was a wooden bath mat. When Dee rinsed her hair she was standing on this wooden bath mat on the tiled floor.....can you imagine this, knees pressed against the bath tub leaning forward hehehehe, the next moment Zia just heard this splash from the bathroom and Dee started laughing hysterically. Zia was busy in the kitchen, left everything and ran to the bathroom, just to find Dee all red inside Zia's bathwater ... hehehehe, everything was about red. Dee slipped on the wooden bath mat and made a summersault and fell in the bath lol. People I wish you could see it for yourselves. It was just to funny. Still visualizing the look on Dee's face Zia start giggling from scratch. Dee was left with a bump on the forehead. It is a pitty Zia did not take a pic for you to see. That very same night Dee and Zia went of wondering Durb's beachfront. We decided to have ride on the Riksja carts. Lol what a mistake. Dee step on first and Zia had a look at this unstable thingikie an thought by herself, no ways, she's not getting on this thing. (Zia is actually a "bangat" if it comes to heights, not always showing it .... lol) Well Dee convinced Zia to get on and Zia said to Dee to move up. As Dee moved weight to move up she pushed out the platform just as Zia stepped on an suddenly there was no platform, Zia trying to hold on to something that aint there and fell off on the other side taking Dee's camera with her. The horrible thing about this whole thing was that Zia had a mini skirt on with fairly high healed sandals. Zia don't want to know how it looked from the rear side ... lol ..... We laughed so much, tears rolling from our eyes. Eventually the Riksja driver took off, but laughed so much he couldn't even jump up with us. We couldn't stop laughing. Zia was left with a few marks as you can see on the pic's. We left Durban Monday morning early and arrived back home about 13h30 the afternoon. Now this is still not the end of our holiday and will be continued............ |
