And because my wacky paper shoe was on display at that place, I got invited to go for their launch party.... which was pretty cool as I have never been invited to such a thing before... They sort of close the store for the afternoon, you get to wear an accreditation pass, and then you have all these people walking around munching on Hors d' ovoures and fruit punch.
And then I got to mingle with the Vice President and directors of Crocs, TV personalities and so on. Also talked and chatted with a couple of local designers, and the funny part was when actor Julian Hee came up and talked to me about my shoe. Quite an interesting experience indeed.... especially with hundreds of shoppers are staring at you! |
