EXAMINATION: IS IT NECESSARY?

Pros:

1. Examination can force students to do more revision.
2. Examination can measure students’ standard in academic.
3. Examination can create healthily competition among students in getting good results.
4. Examination can ensure the quality of our country’s education system.
5. Examination can teach the students to face and accept the challenges in life.
6. Examinations also help students to make their own choice either in higher education or in their job.
7. Examination can let the students know their ability in certain field.
8. Examinations make students’ life become more interesting.

Cons:

1. Examinations create tension and pleasure.
2. Students will try their best in stealing or get in touch with papers, which will be tested on the examination day.
3. Cheating will become a major ‘crime’ in the school, as students usually want to get good result in their examination.
4. Examination make relationship among students will become bad.
5. Examinations make students become more selfish as every student wants to get excellence result in their examination.
6. Enjoyment of study disappeared because of the examination.
