My '83 Exa
My car is a nissan pulsar exa turbo. i  bought it from sydney at christmas 2000, it was in fairly standard form. It had an EMS dual sport I 603 computer fitted, which was one of the main reasons i bought the car. This is fully programmable and controlls both fuel and ignition. The car has a BES Bowgaurd turbo timer, turbosmart blow off valve, k&n pod type air filter but still had the standard exhaust and hubcaps. The head was not long reconditioned by roccos performance in sydney and the turbo was replaced with a water cooled T2 off the rrc engines. The car was also lowered a couple of inches courtesy of lowered king springs.
Since i have had the car, i have done a few mods to it. First of all i fitted a 2 1/4 inch exhaust. This gave the car a bit better note, and also a bit more go. I do plan on fitting a 3inch mandrel bent exhaust in the future when i have a bit more cash. I fitted a new engine, but after having problems have just fully reconditioning it. The engine reco comprised of 20thou over bore, Hypereutectic pistons, balanced bottom end, double valve springs, stage 3 Waggott cam. Also i fitted a t25 turbo, the turbo although externally very similar is almost  twice the size internally, Bigger turbines means better flow, and hence more power. I also had my intercooler fitted, it is a series 5 rx7 cooler that i had modified to suit front mount. Using all 2inch mandrel piping air temp has drastically decreased. A custom 3' dump off the turbo gets rid of spent gasses quicker, and a 4 buck brass button clutch gives drive to the box. With Fj20t injectors and a vl commodore fuel pump fitted in line the fuel supply is more than sufficient.
I have made a boost controller which i have set to switch between 10 and 16psi. This almost doubled the  power of the car. I got hold of a VL commodore throttle body which gave the car  a bit more air flow through the inlet., other mods are pretty simple with the only additions being a woodgrain steering wheel a momo storm wood grain gear knob, and a autometer pro comp silver oil and boost guage. I just had the car dyno tuned, and it made a respectable 150hp at the wheels on 15psi.
The sound system has just been upgraded, i have a pioneer deh4150 head unit, pioneer 12 stacker, pioneer 6x9 inch 3 way speakers, clarion vnet amp and two 15inch Pioneer subs.
I was stoked when i went to a performance shop and they were throwing spoilers out, so i grabbed a couple. And as you will see, it fits sweet.

The ems hand set
pretty plain interior, black is on the cards and so is a retrim
I  have fitted the disk brake rear end of a nissan ET pulsar, this was a pretty straight forward precedior with everything bolting straight on. All the details are in the mods page so go have a look..
I replaced the shitty wheels and hub caps with a set of ET pulsar mag wheels, they are nothing flash, but hey, they are better than hub caps.
I had all the rust cut out,  sills  colour coded and the bumpers dusted with black to make em look more tidy. Also i fitted a set of monroe gas struts to stiffen up the front end.
If you take a good look, you may be able to see a few differences between mine and the standard engine bay. Firstly, and most obviously, there is no air box or inlet piping. This is thanks to the aftermarket computer. As i no longer need an air flow sensor, i have a k&N filter straight off the turbo.
Future plans include a stage 3 cam, bigger injectors and a dyno tune. I have planned a full respray in about 6 months and will be fitting a set of chrome wheels. Inside i will be upgrading to the factory black interior, with 300zx electric seats, eventually i will fit a custom interior, but as this is my daily driver it will be relatively mild, hence why i did not go crazy with the rebuild..
