This Celica is pretty dumb!!!
This thing is mean, it has 530hp at the rear wheels and runs a massive 38psi boost, running a 10.97 second quarter. For every day driving boost is lowered to about 15psi. Running a t3/t4 hybrid turbo that has been hi-flowed, the car has been fitted with a 3" mandrel bent exhaust from the turbo back. Extra injectors have been tapped into the inlet manifauld for more fuel up top with a redline of 8000rpm. The engine has been fully rebuilt with the bottom end fully balanced, forged pistons, gapless rings, o-ringed block and a low compression ratio of 5.2:1. Induction is cooled by a huge three inch thick intercooler and excess boost is vented through a bosch blow off valve on gear changes. The car has been lowered with fully adjustable suspension and colour coded simmons fill the guards. The interior has not been left alone with recaro race seats in the front and the dash and a-pillar dected out with autometer guages. All this is running off an after market 'injec' ecu. This thing has been labeled the "tyre frier" and almost wheel stands on the turbo starting to boost. running through a stock drivetrain improvements are going to have to be made (one gearbox and clutch was trashed in the first day he had it). It is running an aloy case celica box that has been short shifted, the possible addition of a steel case box may be in the not so distant future. Jamie also plans on fitiing a limited slip diff, and disk brake rear end.
This car wont be around much longer. Jamie plans on taking the engine out of this car, and putting it on his other celica. His other celica will be sprayed in Honda NSX yellow, with a few other mods to the interior.
