Dad's Rally Car

My Father whose name is also Paul Langley, is a regular contender in the anual Kidney Kar Rally.  After last Augusts rally he has participated in about five rallies. With no major problem to the car he has done well. Maybe not in the top five, but fun and charity is the main issue of this event.
Since he started the rallie's he has made use of three different cars. The first owned by Mark Loxton, it was a red HR Holden with a large chichen on the roof. This was know as "the chicken car". When Mark  moved to queensland dad bought his own car. This  car was a white 1969 Ford XT Falcon, unbeknown this car would only last one rally.
Then the current rally car was bought. The current car is a 1971 XY Falcon, it is gold in colour with a white roof. I will explain in more detail below on each of these cars.

The first car - Holden HR

The red car in the center was the first of the rally cars. This car underwent many modifications and as far as i am aware is still running (but probably rusted out)

This car undertook many rallies and never had any major break downs.

The current car - Falcon XY

This is the current rally car.  The man to the right is the owner and driver - and my dad, Paul Langley. To the left is Trevor Millar, Trevor has been a family friend for many years and is the navigator and co-driver of dad's rally car. This picture was taken two years ago out the front of my Grandmothers house in Blackheath.
