Touching You

Can't you see it?
The blackness
Its surrounding me
And consuming me

It started with
The dirt
Under my fingernails
And then it spread

Soon my hands
Were covered
In immortal grime
Can't wash away

And it soon
Swallowed my arms
And ate away
At my heart

And of course black
Covered my legs
And left deathly prints
On ground I tred

But worst of all
Was when it covered
My entire face
And all was lost

Each word from
My ebony lips
Poisoned with sweetness
Which none could resist

And each glance
From my kohl eyes
Sent people into a
Downward spiral

Hair so long and
Raven pigmented
That it could choke
And kill with ease

But it all started
With just a speck
Of dirt under my nails
From touching you
