KARMON ERADICATION (NIRJARÄ)

NIRJARÄ IS THE FALLING OFF, DESTRUCTION, OR REMOVAL OF THE PARTICLES OF KARMA, FROM THE SOUL. THIS PROCESS HELPS PURIFY THE SOUL AND LEADS TO ITS SALVATION (MOKSHA OR NIRVANA).

Artist’s narration:

The soul has realized its existence and purpose of eliminating karma by correct thought and action. The outward projection of the red (aversion karma) and blue (attachment karma) lines indicates this expulsion of karmons from the soul. The painting shows that as a result of nirjarä, the soul is emancipated. The karmic field loses intensity as seen by the red and blue fields dissipating into space. The white part of the body, the soul, is awakening and renders the physical body inconsequential, signified by its black coloration. This is the last painting of the “Karmon” series.
