Remarks: The price of various grades at Kottayam market shows that the statement form H2 by the Dealers to the Secretary of Rubber Board is sufficient to publish the quantum of "Grade-wise purchase and sale" which is helpful to avoid the evasion of taxes and "Grading exploitation". The implementation of the display of "Green Book" or Computerised grading system is urgently required for Justice to small growers and small scale Industries.

Price of Latex (60% drc) at Bangkok Rs. 3468/- (USD 79.30) & Kottayam Rs. 4050/- for 60% drc Latex and 5175 for ISNR 20 on 31st December 2004.

The above chart of 29-09-03 shows that Latex is selling per litre which is less in weight.

Farmers are selling Latex with drc between 30 & 35 on lowest price by availing 100% drc after few days from a little part of Latex. This will help the middle men (like crumb factories) against farmers in reducing price. If a milk society can purchase milk with the help of a digital meter to calculate correctly the density which is higher than Latex. The latex can be calculated drc by the same digital meter with simple modifications.

Awareness required for farmers against the present price of latex to change as sheet rubber against this game. In the summer rubber sheets can be kept on storages of farmers on availing lower price.
