Kuttanaad the rice bowl of Kerala notorious for excessive use of chemicals has done a novel work   by growing rice in an organic way. The credit goes to farmers of AYYANADU PADASEKHARAM and POABS. A group of scientists promoting organic culture stood with them. 85 acres of land was used for rice culture with out using any chemical manure, chemical pesticide & chemical veedicide. The entire Kuttanadu is trembling with a devastating brown hopper attack. This 85 acres of plot is smiling with golden ear heads and farmers are jubilant.
