Day 01: (Thu 10-Jul-2014)
Departure from Chennai Central railway station at 20:45 hrs by Train No. 22639 Chennai Alleppey Express.
Day 02: (Fri 11-Jul-2014)
Munnar Trip
Arrival at Ernakulam Junction railway station at 09:00 hrs. Pick up from railway station.
Transfer to Munnar by road (130 kms).
After lunch visit the tea plantations, Mattupetty Dam & Echo Point(closes by 16:30 Hrs.). Evening at leisure for shopping at Munnar Town. Overnight stay at the Le Celestium hotel in Munnar.
Journey from Munnar to Mattupetty Dam (11 kms+11 kms)
Day 03 (Sat 12-Jul-2014)
After eating breakfast (free by hotel) provided by hotel and check out from hotel. at 9am.
Journey from Munnar to RajaMala.
Visit to the Eravikulam National Park & Tea Museum (Closed).
and
transfer to Thekkady (110 kms).
On arrival, check in to the Periyar house hotel at Thekkady. Evening at leisure in Thekkady.
Night dinner free by Periyar House.
Day 04: (Sun 13-Jul-2014)
Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary
Enjoy the morning boat ride in the lake of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Transfer back to the hotel.
After breakfast (free by Periyar house), check out from the hotel and
transfer to Ernakulam Jn. Railway Station (170 kms) for boarding the train no. 22640 Chennai-Alleppey Express at 17:15 Hrs.
Day 05: (Mon 14-Jul-2014)
Reach Arakkonam at 05:25 hrs.
