OK,now as you may know. The internet is filled with viruses, spyware, adware and stuff like that.
The Windows registry is another area in which things get stored.Every time you install something it gets added 2 the registry!
When you uninstall it,it isn't taken out of the registry. The registry isn't bad in itself. It keeps track of your shortcuts and works great in more ways than I can explain.
The problem is that as it gets filled with stuff, your computer gets really slow.
So here are some tools I use 2 fix some of these problems.
Adaware is the best thing I've found 4 getting rid of those annoying cookies and programs that appear on your computer without you even knowing

Spybot is also good.It may be even better.I just haven't tested it out much.It does detect some things the Adaware doesn't.So it's worth a look. http://fileforum.betanews.com/sendfile/1043809773/1/spybotsd14.exe
Regseeker can solve all sorts of problems! http://www.hoverdesk.net/dl/en/RegSeeker.zip
Regcleaner detects different stuff. http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-download/programs/regcleaner.exe
These can't fix all problems, but my computer was REALLY screwed up be4 I used them!
You may never need this, but sometimes you can solve problems with msconfig.exe.Search 4 it on your hard drive.
Often you'll get the same viruses and stuff many times! This is because there are people out there who have nothing better 2 do than screw up your computer.
There is a way 2 simply block viruses! Try http://www.free-av.com/antivirus/allinonen.html
This is 1 of the coolest tools! It lets you change features you can't otherwise! http://www.amsn.ro/FastDefrag2.exe
