As you know,everything on a computer was made by humans.This means it can be changed by humans!

WARNING! MAKE BACKUPS OF ANYTHING YOU EDIT UNLESS YOU AREN'T AFRAID OF LOSING IT!

It's fun 2 change your high scores in games! It's usually very easy 2 do this in standard Windows games.

Remember that when I'm giving you the location of a file,the ? is the drive letter.It's usually C.

Stepmania high scores can be edited be finding the score in this file!

?:\Program Files\StepMania\Data\MachineProfile\stats.xml

OK,that was easy,but not all games store their data in files! They can do it in the registry!

Search your hard drive 4 regedit.exe.It's provided with Windows.

Minesweeper stores it's scores in the registry.It does in XP,but it was stored in a file back in Windows 98.

Anyway,if you have XP,run regedit.Then locate the following key.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\winmine

Keys in the registry are really the same thing as folders.After you locate it,you should be able 2 figure it out.

Now there is 1 other way 2 edit games! Hex editing!
