Chandler Cup History
Founded in 2007 by Scott Drowne and Tim Jesson, the Chandler Cup is a fun, yet competitive golf tournament meant to raise money for two very worth charities:
Child Crisis Center (CCC) and National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR).

The inaugural event was a two team competition comprised of four rounds over two days during Memorial Day weekend 2007 at The Foothills. (Team Jesson soundly defeated Team Drowne). The event raised about $1000 combined for both charities.

The following year, the field expanded to eight groups and the tournament was played on a single day during Memorial Day weekend at The Foothills.Through the support of local and national merchants and companies, the stakes were raised. Team and individual prizes were up for grabs as well as quality items available via raffle. The amount donated to the two charities nearly doubled from the previous year.

The 2009 Chandler Cup promises to keep the momentum going. For the third straight year the event will be played at
The Foothills - although the date has been pushed out to September 19th. We hope to have 10-12  groups this year. There will be plenty of food, fun, birdies, prizes and raffles. We will even have logo shirts and hats available for purchase. Our goal is to once again double the previous year's total charitable contribution to CCC & NFCR.

We hope to see you out there having fun, playing golf and, most importantly, supporting the causes.

Thanks and good luck,

Scott & Tim
