Apart from that. . . .we is all stressed out with A-levels and the like. . . so apart from a few up and coming gigs, not a lot's been happening. Linz is obsessed with Beyonce, Hannah is floating on Feminax, Jake is beginnin to look a bit like Jimmy Page and Burge has disappeared off the face of the earth!
The band consists of Lindz on vocals (Gwen Stephani eat your heart out...), Han on guitar and vocals, Jake on bass and Burge on drums. Occasionally Jake and Han swap just to confuse people .. which is always fun =\

Well, at the risk of sounding boring I could go through all of our histroy again, [at bottom - Ed] but the way I see and remember it . . . .well i cud. . . . .
But I more interested in the theology behind our lickle band of he-shes. . . .
Bloody Anorexiks was started coz I thought there was too much male domination of the music scene. . . . . in our skool and . . . . .the world. . . . . Still think that actuallys! And also, there is no band out there singing bout all the troubles and bother that teen girlies hafta go thru's . . . . . . boys, skoolio, being a lardass, abstaining from chocolates and nicey things, being gay . .. . .is just not sung about!

The whole thing started in charity fortnight this year at school when Lindz rang me up (in the middle of the night!) to say she had an amazin idea for a song and we should make a band and play in a gig at school for charity fortnight. I loved the idea she had for a song and we were both really excited about makin a band. In that week we found ourselves a drummer; Qwawr, and a bassist; Robyn and wrote the song "Jesus Why Can't I Get A Boyfriend?". Lindz and I met in the music store cupboard at break and Lindz sang me the tune she had for the song while I made up guitar parts, we tought Gwawr and Robyn in that week and played the gig. We came second place in the competition which was pretty amazing seeing as we had only just made the song and everyone else was in proper bands. Following from this success we decided to make an official band, the Bloody Anorexikz.
The name came from a saying Lindz and I made (said in a similiar way to "bloody students" etc) and is directed at girls who go around saying they are fat just so people will compliment them, it is also meant as a backhanded compliment towards our very pretty friends! (We are in no way at all against anorexia, in fact part of our message is to tell girls to be happy with the way they look!)
Anyway, back to the story...Gwawr and Robyn formed a mini rebellion (not that I hold any grudges at all...) and decided they did not want to be in the band. At this time Lindz was also forming a band with Jake and we decided to unite the two bands. We also had Andy as a drummer, but he is in too much demand (remember us when ur famous dude ... what am I sayin?! We'll get there first...) so we asked Burge to play drums. And so the band was formed ... simple as that!
The overwhealming prescence of boys in the band does challenge our right as a 'girl band' somewhat, but we dont care, cause Lindz and I will write songs about boys and sing them, and Burge and Jake will just do as they are told ... hehe
