“A
confession for life”
Life! What
a queer treasure you are,
Your
mesmerizing contents are foreign to me
A time will
come when we will part
Lifeless, I
will be – when, where, how I know not
For it’s
a secret which the prudent could not unfold.
Dear life,
we have been together for so long
Witnessing
the rant and rave and pleasant times
Though there too were times when you and I quarreled
And I often desired you were no more
Yet I pray, forgive and forget, it is an intricacy to part
Precious, we have to accomplish so much
The dreams which we saw, haven’t faced the reality
Keep the
tears and sighs for some other time
Let’s
greet each other once more and bid farewell
