I have managed alot of teams in CM99/00 (Real Madrid, Coventry City, Liverpool being the main examples), but the team that I control at the moment is Leeds Utd.

The team that you inherit when you take over is a very favourable one. It's inevitable though that you will want to bring in your own players and change the squad and make it a force.

This is my squad. I have put my view of each player and how they should be handled.

Ian Armstrong (former liverpool)

Get him on the cheap, soon becomes brilliant. Scores so many goals, great finishing.Super-sub. Happy as a HOT PROSPECT when at a big club.

Graham Barrett (former Arsenal)

Has a high value as soon as he gets a 1st team appearance. Rep. Of. Ireland International and scores for them. Not as much impact at a big club, good for a smaller one.

Lee Bowyer

Ever present for England. Poor tackling, and is booked often. Value stays at around £6 million. Match tactic should be EASY tackling to prevent a sending off. Very good player.

Wesley Boyle

If he's at a big English club he's seen as hot prospect, but don't release on the cheap because the board like him. Average player for a big club, but is great for the smaller teams. An N. Ireland "starlet."

Michael Bridges

Satisfied to be a Squad Rotation player at a big club. Consistent scorer, 20 goals a season. England player after a long run in big club. Has good fitness, and his value can get to about £12 million.

Michael Carrick(former West Ham)

Needs a long run in the 1st team to become good. Not massively impressive unless playing against poor players or with a good team.

Ashley Cole(former Arsenal)

The scouts say he's good, but he's average. Plays on morale but is a Division One player.

Joe Cole(former West Ham)

Likes West Ham, will only leave for a much bigger club. Becomes fantastic, lots of assists and a good average rating. Needs to be Indispensible if he's to stay happy. England U21 for a while and makes the full squad sometimes. Creates Interest from big European clubs. One of the best and collects alot of "Young player of the year" and "player of the month" awards.

Denilson(former Real Betis)

He doesn't play at Betis so want's to move to another BIG club. You need to be a big club and in european competition for him to join you. Costs around £20 million, but great all round attacker.

Kevin Dixon

An average player who's backup for the left side. Doesn't become brilliant.

Gareth Evans

Not good enough for the big teams, a Division Two or Three player.

Rio Ferdinand(former West Ham)

Is a great player who wants to leave West Ham, but only for a really top team. Chance of joining the "Spurs, Newcastles or Leeds" but demands a high wage and instant success.

Tony Hackworth

If a small club take him on loan, but he's not for the big clubs. Happy enough as "Hot Prospect" at a big club.

Chad Harper

Reasonable keeper. Shines for the reserves but not as good for first team. Division two or three player.

Ian Harte

Lots of assists from free kicks and corners. Good for any club who offers him a good wage and 1st team football. Very versitile, plays anywhere on the left or right (defence and midfield).

Thierry Henry(former Arsenal)

Lightning pace and a great finisher. If you can snap him up. He's one for the big clubs and is a firm fan favourite.

Mark Jackson

Will come into the 1st team and do a good job. But doesn't make you drop other players to put him in. Loan out for experience.

Matt Jansen(former Blackburn)

Magic player!! Has the best free kick in the league. (1 in 3 free kicks are goals when he shoots from the right side.) Definate buy if you can get him.

Robbie Keane(former Coventry City)

Prolific scorer, will leave Coventry for a massive wage and a massive club. Very expensive but worth every penny.

Alan Kennedy

Ireland U21 who's reasonable but needs confidence and high morale to perform.

Harry Kewell

Ambitious, only large clubs need apply. Won't sign a long term contract incase you become bad. Scores alot from the left wing, great dribbler who creates alot.

Chris Kirkland(former Coventry City)

If he's going cheap pick him up. Has potential to become a great keeper, just needs a long 1st team run.

Anthony Loughran

Average defender, ever present for the reserves does a good job and is a good backup.

Nigel Martyn

Great keeper and a board favourite, so don't let him go for less than £7 million. Lots of Man of the Match awards.

Lee Matthews

There are far better strikers, but he can become good with time. A good backup.

Alan Maybury

Usually worth a 1st team squad spot. Comes in and does a reliable job.

Jamie McMaster

Ambitious young striker who believes he should be in the 1st team squad. Will become a great player but needs nurturing.

Jon Newby(former Liverpool)

Can do well if he gets the service. His value rockets if he plays in the 1st team.

Richie Partridge(former Liverpool)

Another Liverpool youngster who's a fantastic winger and a great prospect. Is a great aquisition and scores alot. Can become a player of high value.

Paul Robinson

Great young keeper, doesn't let alot in. Creates alot of transfer interest. Try to hang onto him.

Emerson Thome(former Sheffield Wednesday)

Will probably leave on a BOSMAN, so snap him up. He doesn't expect to be 1st choice at a big club but is a good player.

Simon Watson

Average defender who has the potential to do well, but might not fulfill it though. Get if a smaller club.

Jon Woodgate

Fantastic defender that creates alot of interest from other clubs because of his low value. Price him at £10 million to scare them off. Should start no doubt.

Ze Maria

Experienced Brazilian will join clubs on long contracts. Versitile down the right side with a great cross. Consistently good.
