CHEATS
In Champ Manager 99/00, actual cheats are a rarety, but I have a few which do catch out the game.
Easy Wins
This is my favourite, as it enables you to win the game, and win handsomely.
First see what team you are playing by checking the NEXT MATCH screen. Then go to ADD MANAGER and find that club and become their manager.(They must a team from one of your selected leagues for you to become their boss.) Then when it comes to match day you can muck about with their tactics and formations.e.g. Remove the keeper. If you play them with no keeper for the whole match it's more than likely that you will beat them by 20 goals. This is a great way to ensure a win, and if your goal difference is abit poor, a good way to boost it.
TIP: Try to become the clubs boss about two days before their match with you so that they won't be playing any matches, otherwise the game will no allow you to take charge.
Dodgy Transfers
BUYING PLAYERS
Strapped for cash but need good players? This is the cheat for you!
Again choose what player you want and then become his club manager by going to the ADD MANAGER screen. Then make as small a bid as you possibly can for the player and offer the club it. As the manager of his club accept the offer and then continue game. Now the offer has been accepted, offer the player a contract and as long as he accepts your quids in.
A few problems can arise with this cheat e.g. The board blocking the move, or the player not wanting to come to you. The way to solve the latter is to decrease his morale by demoting him and fining him for no reason. He will soon become disgruntled and be more than happy to join you club. If the board see the offer as unrealistic you will just have to up your offer a bit.
SELLING PLAYERS
Maybe you just want to recieve a load of cash to help you along, so you'll need to sell a player.
Firstly, pick a club with loads of cash and become their manager. Then as that manager make a great big offer for one of your players with all the trimmings e.g. Money after Apps and 20% after next sale etc.
As long as the player accept the other clubs contract you'll be in the money.
Again, if they don't want to go there's no harm in helping them on their way by fining them and making them "not needed by the club". That should sort them out!
Begin as an International manager
If you want to plunge straight into the big time, at the start of the game when you're asked to pick a team, click on a team who have a player of the nationality of your chosen country. Click on him and then on where it says his nationality. It should bring up that country's team and in the top right corner it should say TAKE CONTROL, click that and "voila", you a national manager!
The only reason why this won't work is if you choose a country with a low reputation, or the country is not one of you selected leagues.
Well there you go, the best cheats to help you on your way. But may I remind you that cheating is neither big nor clever and you can never say that you have actually suceeded at anything if you cheat, that's why I stopped using the afor mentioned cheats.
