The Ultrastar Difference
Top Ten

1.  All steal (not wood or aluminum) frame.  This means less rattles and longer life for the total coach.  Most all new RV's are now made by cheaper and lighter wood or aluminum frames

2.  Aerodynamic body - Unlike people who drive bread boxes, Ultrastar owners are not thrown all over the road by high winds and get better gas mileage.  In addition, the driver sits higher than in bread box RV's giving you a better view and an even level as the semi's drivers you pass.

3.  Real wood cabinets -  most gasoline class A RV's today use heavy mdf type manufactured wood for cabinets and only the doors are real wood

4.  Fiberglass body with metal roof -  An option on most new units, Ultrastars are always fiberglass except for the durable aluminum roof ready for any type of hail storm ! (CB antennas should be mounted on top of the RV as a result instead of the side).

5.  Superior interior insulation and custom fittings - Ultrastars don't have those large (mobile home like) flat wallpaper walls like most other coaches.  Ultrastar windows are inset and the walls are covered in either wood or car-like padded vinyl sides that are easy to clean.

6.  360 degree search light was standard equipment on all Ultrastars by Champion.  Many new RV's don't even offer the roof mounted remotely controlled search light as an option.

7.   Remote cut-off switch next to the entry door for both the coach batteries (two) and the chassis.  Holiday Rambler finally added this feature to their plus $100,000 coaches this model year (2002).

8.  Most all Ultrastars (that we know of) have the following standard equipment as compared to the very pricey standard features of new class A's sold today for example 15,000 btu air conditioners and not 13,500 btu, 6.5 Kw Onan generator not a 5.5 Kw generator, and the micro-wave convection oven combination oven.  There really are too many to list but here are a few more, in-house vacuum cleaner, remote battery gages, remote generator starter, hydrolic leveling jacks, and many amy more...........

9.  Corian counters in the kitchen and bathroom that are easy to clean

10.  Rear chassis heater so the dash heat can also be sent to the rear bedroom to a radiator under the bed.  Also, the coach heater has ample outlets throughout the coach to keep things warm when engine isn't running.
