Post any questions you have about your Ultrastar or Champion Motorhome -
Entry for August 25, 2006
photo

FAQ - The most common question we get asked is where to find parts.  The truth is Champion bought most everything on your RV from another manufacturer.  Whether its the chasie or interior, most items can still be purchased at an RV supply store like Camping World.

Please post specifc questions here so we can post our responses for the benefit of others.

I have a 23 ft. Champion Telstar that I love. I've owned it for 10 years and have recently developed a leak from the city water supply side. It is showing up in the middle of the aisle. I do not see the polybutlylene tubing running under the coach. Does anyone know if there is a subfloor? Has anyone tried to pull new tubing? I hate to tear up the carpet to check!

hi, we love our 1989 ultrastar. We wondered if any one has had an issue with the chassis light on the battery disconnect panel-we travel down the road and our chassis disconnect switch just turns off and we have no power. So, we quickly push the button and resume. We have checked the relays to make sure they work. Took our batteries our for normal recharge, slow trickle, and now the coach light is on and no power to chassis. The emergency start switch works-stereo and such come on and motor will not crank. gen set works, coach works. Any suggestions. Also, I have all service manuals for this year. Although vague, they do include wiring and battery line up. Please let us know where to fax a copy. Also, we have one main ground for the chassis battery and 3 pos leads, do you know what the small black and white pos wire powers? It seems to split off under motorhome and one wire goes to the back and one to the front of motorhome. My e mail is [email protected]

Happy Camping when we get the Blue Bomber running-she is a gem.
