            Red is sullen as he and Father pick Mother and the baby up. He’s angry because his plan failed. Now Father has to go work and he won’t come home until late every night. He had fun living with Father alone for years while Mother was off in Houen developing some new type of poke ball, but…

            It didn’t work.

            Mother was too strong, and she didn’t get sick and the baby is there. Worse of all, it’s not one baby, but two. They drool and smell bad and cry all night so he can’t sleep.

            Father gets tired too, and announces that he’s moving back to Indigo Plateau. However, his next words make Red’s heart skip a beat.

            Father is taking him with him?

            Red happily waves goodbye, and that night, he sleeps in Father’s bed and feels better, even when Father kisses him goodnight, which is a bit girly but feels nice.

            He’s safe.
