The Rules

General

+ I am sole creator and owner of this site. My word is law. Period.
+ Profanity is kept to minimum. If I think your cussing to much you will be given a warning. If you dont pay attention then I will ban you.
+ You will leave all ridcule, discrimination, sexism, and racism behind.
+ This is a semi-realisitc RPG, which means, Horses cant talk, bow, give roses, etc. etc. PLEASE no OOC except on the OOC board. I am trying to make this game as realistic as possible.
+ If your character has a problem with another character YEE HAW!!! We encourage that. It adds diversity to the place. But keep the argument WITHIN THE CHARACTERS. No reason to hate the person whos writing it simply because shes acting in character. If you have a problem, get over it. No OOC fighting is allowed. Banishment is predictable.
+ Originality is encouraged. If you steal from someone else your in mighty big trouble.
+ I, Carissa, am not responsible for any in character fights that occur. Take your problems to someone else please.
+ Warnings are usually issued, then banishment.
+ HTML is allowed (as well as encouraged) We like to make things pretty around here ya know? BUT... if we (meaning I) deem your picture unappropriate, to hard to read, to large, etc., then you either change it or get rid of it. Sorry, but theres go to be some restriction.
+ ALL FONTS MUST BE CLOSED!!! If you screw up the fonts I will delete your post. If this happens repetitively you will be warned and then banned.

Joining

+ You must join as a Quarter Horse or a Paint Horse. It must be REGISTERABLE with AQHA or the APHA. You may also join as people (any race or ethnic). Once we have 50 members, I will start accpeting Thoroughbreds and Arabians, but dont join as one now.
+ When you join you are agreeing that you will STAY ACTIVE unless otherwise excused. You are also agreeing that you will place effort into your posts, which means no one liners, two liners, three liners, etc., are allowed. If we (meaning I) beleive that you are not putting enough effort into your post you will be warned. After that warning there is potential or permanent banishment. Depending on the situation. I understand that sometimes you are not able to make your posts so long, but then other times you are able.
+ There is no limit to the amount of characters you may join. but I will delet some if you are not being active, as in 3 posts a week.
+ If your charrie leaves the joining board before I accept you... -shakes fist- She/He/It will be sent back to where she came from.
+ When you join make sure to include ALL information requested. If you do not then you will be rejected until you get it correct. I would aprecitate any extra information you would like to give, it will only help you.
+ Please put maximum amount of effort into your joining post. It decides what rank and class you have in the game and sets expectations for your posts later on. Your joining post must be at LEAST two FULL paragraphs as in 5 sentences each.(although more is appreciated).
+ Humans: After I have accepted you and informed you on what your job is to be, go to the Employeement Office and wait for an Owner or Manager to hire you for their stables.
+ Horses: When joining please describe your horses as BEST as you can. If your un-sure of the correct name for a certain bodypart please look it up. After you have been accepted you will be given a registration number and a reasonable sale price. Then you must progress to the Private Sale Barn where you will be sold for auction and bought by Stable Owners, Managers, or any other higher position. It is acceptable for a groom to purchase you (if he has the correct amount of money)
+ Horses: When creating your character, please be sure to remember that these horses will be 'fake registered' and all registeries look better with more than one word. If you would want your horses name to be Ziptobefree, than that is fine. But Polly, Lolly, Jack, Mabelle, and other shortened names will not be accepted. If you wish your nickname to be around those lines then that is fine, since that is not a required thing.Pass: Royal

Shows

+ You must enter your horses before the entering date. No exceptions.
+ You must have at least 3 points to enter your horse.
+ At the end of the year (reality = two months) there will be a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP for both AQHA and APHA horses. There we will crown the world champions.
+ The winner will be based on my sole descesion. No arguments. It will also be determined by amount of points and RP'ing skills. For example: If you have ten points in a class and your RPGing skills are horrid, you may be beaten by a person with less points then you with good rpging skill.

Holding Shows

+ I will hold a show once every two weeks. They always will have a bit of everything, so don't worry.
+ Show Managers can hold shows if they would like to. They may buy a show property and hold one a week. You might need to hire a few people to run the show, and help you judge. If there is any problem, I will look it over.
+ Shows made by players may be what ever they perfer. But, they can only hold a class if they have a course/arena/track for it. Say, if you have only 2 arenas, you cant hold a cross country class, or a race.
+ Fore very arena you have, you may have 10 classes. So if you have 3 arenas, you have 30 classes. You will also need 4 acres for parking, and more for cross country.
+ Entry fees can not be more than $50 a class, and you'll have to pay $5 of that to the the AQHA and the APHA.
+ Be creative with your shows! Make up some fun classes! Be wild! I will acctually award points to show grounds with the best shows.

Points

+ Points are made either by outstanding RP'ing skills or how many posts you make at the training arena. (For every two times you train, your horse is awarded one point) Stables points are given for the workers great posts, and if a horse wins something. Every year( 2 months) I will count up how many points a stable has, and they wil lget something.
+ Points will be posted on Registry Board along with registration numbers. THey will also be ont he stable's board.
+ Points may be the making/breaking point of a competition. If I see that two players are equally matched in writing skill I will go to points. If they have the same amount of points then I will simply have to examine the posts in more detail. Going for spelling, grammer, and other literary devices. And if they are still pretty even, i'll go to the stable points.
+ Points are given to horses and stables. Not indivdual humans.
+ Points are awarded when one wins a competition. 5 points is awarded for each First place trophy, second palce gets 4 points, 3rd gets 2 and so on. Some times there might be a show that will award more points You also gain money. The prize money varies from Show to Show.

Jobs/Occupations

+ I give you your job after you join. There is no other way to get a job.
+ What job you get depends solely on the skill of your joining post so make em GOOD.
+ The Job Listings from Least Influential to Most Influential: Groom, Stable Assistant, Rider, Stable Manager, Show Manager, Trainer and Owner. Very rarely do I give out the position of Owner and Trainer. They are the most esteemed jobs.
+ You may request a job, but there is NO guarentee that you will receive it. If you don't there is a chance later that you can become what you want.
" If you become an Owner, you will need to tell me your stable name, and I will create one board. If you would like a site, and more boards, you must make it youself. Make sure the font, and backgrounds match the site.
" If you are a show Manager, you may buy a show ground, and begin making shows.

Bank/Money Matters

+ The amount of money you are given at the beginning (when you join) depends on the job you get. If your given Owner you start out with 10mill. Every Stable has a buying price, so that's where most of your money will be spent, There is usually a empty stable with all it's features, and its price. All this money must last you an entire year (reality = two months) unless your horses are successful. A Show Manager gets $7 million. This will be spent on buying the show grounds, hiring judges, and other things. Anthing besides an owner and Show manager gets $50,000 to start with. Trainers pay variate on how many horses they work with although they get a starting pay as well.
+ To get your money please go to the bank and request it (stating in the subject line 'Request'). You will be given a notice on how much money you have left in the bank as well as your account number.
+ When you spend money you MUST post on the bank board stating how much money you spent, where you spent, and what you spent it on. Please put 'Spent' in the subject line. If you DO NOT tell us then you will be charged for stealing. If this happens you will be given a warning and moved down to Groom position and someone else will take your place as owner. If you are already a groom then you just receive a warning. The second time this occurs you are faced with temporary or permanent banishment, depending on how I feel at the time.
+ Ok, the owner's will recieve money each week of 400,000 so that they can pay people and buy more horses, you must pay everyone grooms receive $1,000 a week, and it will go up $1,000 for each level (so Trainers would get $6,000). Please go to the Bank and watch for the 'PAYMENTS' then you will be able to post 'WITHDRWEL' of your money after I have said Payments. I will place payments fore everyone on sunday for the next week.

Breeding

+ NO long breeding. We are not a porno site. Just type your stats please.
+ If you wish to have a foal please make sure that your male is NOT gelded. If you breed with a gelded male, well, then I think I'll just take away some points from everyone... Stud fees are created by those who own the stallion. Dont complain about it to me.
+ When all money matters are issued and both parties are in agreement please post horse stats in the 'Breeding' section. NO WHERE ELSE.
+ I will decide the results of the breeding. You may request, but that does not mean it will be followed through on.
+ The more detailed you make your stats, the better the foal will be.
+ If both the stallion and the mare have a high amount of points it is common for the foal to have a few inherited ones as well but it's not assured.

Other

+ Please advertise this site. If I know you are adertising, I will either give you points (if your a horse) or give your stables points.,br> " Also, I am considering having the option to buy livestock for a tack shop like place. Post on the ooc board what you think aobut that.

Questions? Comments? Email me at [email protected]. Or place a post on the OOC board.
