Shopping at a Fraction of the Cost
Dozens of Discounts!

Work with a partner. Make up a sale flyer for a store of your choice. List 4-6 items, showing what each usually costs. Give a discount for each item during the sale. Write the discount as a fraction. Write some shopping questions to go with your data. Then swap flyers and questions with another pair of smart shoppers.

How to proceed:

1. Use the PrintShop in computer class to create your sale flyers. Here are some examples:

Make sure to put your NAMES at the bottom!

2. Once you have your PrintShop flyer finished, you must have the answers to your questions printed on the back. Use Microsoft Word to list the answers to your questions.

Next, CAREFULLY place your PrintShop flyer face-up and toward you in the printer tray. COOPERATION is the key to success here. If someone else prints with your flyer in the tray, you'll have to do it all over again!

Turn your finished work into Mr. Brown or Ms. Hamilton.

If you have any questions, please e-mail Ms. Hamilton.
