GRAN-GRAN
Opal Claudine Schoonover
Even though you have been gone for so many years with our Lord in Heaven, there would be no way I could exclude you from my pages, so I thought I would just write a few of my memories of you.

My Gran-Gran, even though you lived so far away from where we did, there is one thing for sure  you were a big part of my life and how well I do remember you coming to visit us and of course we came to visit you ,too. I remember how you loved to dunk your morning breakfast doughnuts (mostly plain ones) in your coffee. I remember watching you do this often. I remember how you always wore dresses, to my rememberance I can't think of a time I saw you in pants. I admired you  for that.  I know one thing for sure when it came to your kids and grandkids we were the best and I know you loved us very  much. Oh how I remember your laughter and how glad  I was to see you laugh, it always made me laugh, too. You were always kind and considerate to others until they made you mad and then, well thats a different story.. .........
Now my dear Grandmother I only have the ocean or the bay to pay a visit to you.  It's always a sunny day it seems when I go there, and I wonder why. Could it be that  you are sunny, too?  My guess is you know  we are there.
I Love You Gran-Gran and always will. Please always know this and please save a place for me at your table .
