Performing Experience | Personal Photos | Gallery of Audrone's Drawings | inPress | Audrone's daughter Aushra Artistic DirectorA native of Vilnius, Lithuania, Audrone Sharp began her musical studies at the M.K. Chiurlionis School of the Arts and subsequently completed her studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music in Vilnius where she stayed on teaching chamber music for 13 years. Following postgraduate studies at the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Her teachers was Beata Vasiliauskaite, Alexander Livont( student of David Oistrach) and Tatjana Gaidamovich. Audrone began an extensive performing career as violinist including with symphony orchestras in Mexico where she was soloist and concertmaster. In addition to active participation and leadership in chamber music in Lithuania and Canada, she is currently a member of the Brampton opera orchestra, the Toronto Philharmonia, the Ottawa Sacred Music Society(concertmaster), and Toronto Sinfonietta. In 1998, Audrone created the Toronto Lyra Chamber Orchestra (www.geocities.com/chamberorchestralyra) and is its concertmaster and Artistic Director. |
