Here are all the Episode II goofs! I got all of these from IMDB.
Note: All claimed inconsistencies with the rest of the series are being rejected until the prequel trilogy is complete, as they may yet be explained in Episode III.
Continuity: When Obi-wan is climbing out of his starfighter on Geonosis, we see R4's head facing the front of the ship and then rotate left. The next cut, R4's head is facing forward again, and repeats the motion rotating left a second time.
Continuity: When Anakin is talking to Padme before going off in search of his mother on Tattooine, the positions of their shadows change between shots.
Continuity: When Obi-wan sends the message for help to Anakin and Amidala, Amidala presses a red button in order to transmit the message to the Jedi council. A minute later she presses the same red button in order to view a map of a galaxy, without first doing anything which might be expected to change the function of the button.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padme are back on Naboo in the lake country, he takes her fruit and proceeds to cut it. The initial cut is in the middle, however when he gives it back to her, he is giving her the end of the fruit.
Revealing mistakes: At several points in the movie, characters are missing reflections and shadows.
Continuity: In the night scene at the Naboo retreat (the black corset scene) the fire behind Amidala is inconsistent between shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Obi-wan Kenobi is fighting Jango Fett in the rain, Jango Fett is toying with some crates outside of his ship when he first sees Obi-wan. These crates disappear from Jango Fett's side in the next shot, and disappear completely from the platform for the rest of the scene.
Continuity: When Amidala is in the smelt-iron vat and R2 is trying to shut down the process, we see an overhead shot of her vat third in line for being filled with molten metal. Then it appears that an extra vat is filled before getting to hers.
Continuity: Kneeling over her decoy, Padme's hair is on both sides of her shoulders. When she stands up, her hair is all on one side.
Revealing mistakes: The space traffic seen in the window of Palpatine's office repeats itself exactly during every scene, day or night.
Continuity: When Padme is packing for her trip to Naboo, at one point she is in her closet holding a red garment. A moment later, when she places it in her case, it has changed color to blue.
Continuity: The spinning display in the background of the Lars family's workshop is inconsistently placed between cuts.
Audio/visual unsynchronised: When Anakin is talking to Padme on the red couch, his profile shows his mouth is moving, but he says nothing.
Audio/visual unsynchronised: During the fireplace conversation, in one of the "over Anakin's shoulder" shots, Anakin stop's talking, but we see him say another line.
Continuity: In Dex's restaurant, just before Dex comes out, Obi-wan is fiddling with the poison dart. When he goes to give Dex a hug, it's gone.
Continuity: When Obi-wan throws his blue lightsaber at Anakin, he catches it with his left hand while holding his green lightsaber in his right hand. In the next shot, when Anakin is fighting with Dooku, the lightsabers have switched hands.
