‘Damn Voldemort!' thinks Severus before he answers Poppy's question, "I am afraid that I don't have any of the potion on hand and the other painkilling potions are not strong enough for it. Give him a sleeping potion while I make the potion." With that, he turns and strides out of the Wing, heading to his private potions lab in the Dungeons. ‘At least this way, I can take some of the pain from him. Even if he never knows why I do this.'

As Severus is heading to his private lab, three other people are meeting to discuss the decaying of some charms that were used to protect another. These charms alter the appearance of a person and must be renewed every fifteen years, but you have to use the exactly the same charms or the results could be devastating. As these three people did not know what charms were used, or anyone else who might know, they were discussing what was to be done now.

"Albus, he needs to know. Even though Severus and I don't exactly like each other or get along, I want my godson to know who his true father is. I want him to have a home and be happy." states one of the three people, the one known as the mass murderer Sirius Black. "Harry has to know who his father is and why it was hidden from him, before the charms wear off. If we don't tell him know, then he'll figure it out after the charms are gone and never forgive us for not telling him."

Albus Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, sadly sighs before he says, "We cannot tell him. If we do, he will want to leave his aunt and uncle's care. We cannot have that. Not when he is safest there. Not when he is protected." Albus watches the expressions flash across the others' faces as he says this. "Harry cannot know who his father is and that is that."

Remus had been quiet and listened to the other two men, but when he heard Albus say that Harry would be safest with his aunt and uncle he was furious. Softly he asks, "Do you know what they do to Harry, Albus? What the ‘punishment' for him are? How they treat him? Do you Albus?" As he speaks, Remus' voice slowly raises in volume until he is fairly shouting at the Headmaster.
