Farm Pictures & Info
Location: Colorado (Front Range)
Size: 140 acres (40 for cows, 100 for corn, barley, sugar beets, and whatever my dad wants to raise
Number of Cows: approx 1300 cows (1100 milking and 200 dry), roughly 500 heifers (teenagers) and 200 calves (babies)
Milking Schedule: Each milking cow, 3 times per day
Amount of Milk Produced: 50,000 pounds (a semi tanker) every 15 hours
Average Milk Given per Cow: Between 70 and 80 pounds per day
Average Number of Babies Born on the Farm: 3 per day
Future Plans: Land was recently purchased to build a 2nd farm

The  cows sleep here when the weather is bad.  The shed is 1/4 mile long and is cleaned by pumping water to the top and letting it flow down

The girls like having their picture taken, the few boys sit and bitch that you take pictures of a few of their girls.  Cripes each one has 100 girls, Stop throwing shit on yourself and bitching about it!!
I know I shouldn't messed around with that bull!  At least I'm due in 2 days and this will all be over!  (This is her 5th baby) You're gonna take my picture an hour after I had my son, I'm gonna kick your ass if you don't get out of here! (This is her 1st baby)
My dad's new toy.  It's a ground mover for his new farm, he has expensive taste
A hay grinder.  It takes 1 ton bales of hay and shreds them to bits
This is why you should always check your radiator levels.  Too much water in the winter will give you a $10K welding bill.
