Razor woke up on the cold floor and looked up to see the moon shining
ominously in the dark sky, on closer inspection he realised something,
'This isn't Florida,' judging by the streets it kind of reminded him of
Sunnydale. After helping the slayer rescue Spike from
Soltard (see my other fics) he'd left and gone to Florida so how the
hell did he end up here?
'Your right, this isn't Florida,' he whipped around to see a guy
standing there, judging by his vampire senses weren't picking up a
heartbeat it was obvious he was a vampire as well, he looked kind of
familiar. 'Xander?'
'I'm not the Xander you know, the Xander you know is in the other
reality with all the other lowly mortals,' the vampire informed him.
'Oh.wait what'd you mean other reality,' Razor was getting increasingly
angry at this vampire not telling him the whole truth.
'We've brought you to our reality because we need your help,' Razor
motioned for him to continue, 'vampires once ruled Sunnydale but then
the white coats came, those we could handle but then the slayer came.'
'Buffy Summers,' he nodded, 'she's one great fighter all right.'
'Slowly our numbers started decreasing and now they're trying to wipe us
out of existence,' he paced a bit as Razor watched him, 'two more
slayers are coming, named Faith and Kendra.'
'Hold on a second, number one, Kendra's dead, Drusilla killed her a year
ago and number two there can only be one slayer at a time,' the vampire
version of Xander laughed.
'That's your reality, in this one there can be five slayers at once,'
noticing Razors eyes roll he nodded, 'yeah, anyway we need your help.'
'My help,' Razor laughed, 'why me?'
'We've searched for years for someone who could match his brothers
fighting ability,'
Xander explained.
'My brother.'
Xander nodded, 'Spikes dead and so is the alternate version of you, but
someone is still alive,' he motioned to the shadows and a young girl
stepped out and walked over to Xander.
'Laura?' Razor couldn't believe he was seeing his own sister again while
in his reality she was dead.
'She's my wife,' they exchanged a kiss, 'here's the problem, these
slayers will wipe out every vampire in Sunnydale and soon the world. I
just want a favour.'
'What's the favour?' Razor already knew the answer.
'I want you to help me kill these slayers,' Xander smiled at him, 'then
we'll rule Sunnydale, the bad thing is you can't remain here forever but
if it works then at least you'll know that your sister will be joint
ruler of the world.'
'Please,' his sister seemed to beg.
Razor thought about it, 'Ok.'
'Good, come with us,' he led him along the back corridors, 'the slayers
will be here in three days and when they arrive we want to be ready for
them.' Razor was led back to the Bronze and they went inside where about
fifty vampires were either relaxing or working in some way, 'this is our
army.'
'Make yourself at home,' his sister smiled.
'Where's an isolated spot,' Xander asked him why he wanted an isolated
spot, 'let's just put it this way, I don't play well with others.'
After giving him directions Laura went over to her younger brother,
'Give your sister a kiss Ian,' she put her hands on his head but he
pulled them away.
'My sisters dead,' he spun around and walked through the masses of
vampires towards his new home at least for the next few weeks.
'He's just like I remember,' Laura hung from Xander's neck as they
watched him leave.
Buffy loaded the crossbow and turned to Faith and Kendra who were also preparing, 'Have we had any contact with the white coats from inside Sunnydale?' Buffy asked Kendra. 'Only three groups, they're saying that they're being hunted down, they also say that there's a more powerful vampire there now working for Xander,' Kendra replied, 'do you think this is a good idea?' she asked innocently. 'No worries girlfriend I'll protect you,' Faith slapped Kendra on the back. 'With your reckless attitude I'm surprised we haven't all perished by now,' Kendra mumbled quietly. 'What's that supposed to mean?' Faith snapped, obviously not quiet enough. Just as the two were about to get into a huge fight Buffy cut in, 'Guys, chill ok, we have more important business to take care of than squabbling with each other,' they both nodded, 'what's this vampires name?' Kendra shrugged, 'No-one knows, he likes to remain anonymous.' 'Not the usual bragging type then,' Faith joked and Kendra shook her head, 'how long till we leave B?' 'I've decided to up it to tomorrow, hopefully we'll catch them off guard,' the other two nodded their agreement and she went back to preparing her weaponry. Razor sat on top of the roof of the Bronze and looked at the people rushing back towards their houses as curfew kicked in, usually the idea of a hunt would excite him and he'd be down there eating someone by now but tonight he didn't feel hungry. Taking a swig out of a beer bottle that Xander had given him he gulped down the blood before turning to his whisky bottle and took a swig out of that as well feeling it burn the back of his throat as usual. As the moon was hidden behind the clouds he heard the howl of a werewolf, vampires began milling out of the Bronze getting ready to look for anymore food that they didn't already have in the Bronze. For some strange reason he had a funny feeling that something bad was going to go down in the next few nights, something that the vampire community was not going to like. Buffy looked out of the car window as they drove towards Sunnydale, she noticed the battered sign that read Sunnydale before pulling into a car park that sat directly opposite the local mall. She turned off the ignition and faced Faith and Kendra, 'We've got seven hours till sundown so make the most of it,' both nodded and left in different directions as Buffy walked towards a coffee shop. 'Wow look at all the shops,' Faith said to herself, 'girl you got it going on,' she towards the nearest one and entered it going straight towards the denim and leather section. 'Can I help you?' a young man came over to her but she smiled and shook her head. 'I'm just browsing.' 'If you need anything I'll be right over there,' the guy walked away and Faith looked him over. 'How about your number,' she mumbled but remembered that she was in Sunnydale for business not pleasure and so returned to rummaging through the denim shorts department. Buffy could see Kendra from the coffee shop looking over various arts and crafts and statues of Indian gods, she didn't know that she was being watched from across the street. The figure saw her look his way but he kept staring at her, finally he turned the motorbike on and took off away, 'Weird,' Buffy said aloud before returning to her coffee. 'What do you think girlfriend?' Faith asked joyfully modelling off her new extremely short denim shorts and leather jacket, 'only fifty bucks for the two.' 'They're.(Buffy was trying to think of a good way to say trashy) they're very you,' she finally said as Kendra came over with a small bag, 'what'd you get?' she asked. 'Protection,' was the reply she got and Kendra pulled out a small vial, 'this will protect us from bad spirits and omens,' she explained. 'O.k,' Buffy didn't really understand but decided not to push it. But Faith did, 'Omens, girl what are you talking about?' once again they got into an argument. 'Unlike you I'm care about other peoples feelings,' Kendra spat at Faith who looked actually offended by this remark. 'I'm very caring, I'm also just very outspoken,' Faith defended, 'anyway I don't know why they'd want a voodoo girl like you as a slayer anyway. Your all about safety, but if you don't risk you don't gain,' Buffy sighed and just tuned out as the two continued their argument as her thoughts wandered back to the person on the motorcycle, why did she have such a bad feeling about him? 'The slayers have arrived,' Razor told Xander as he flopped down onto an old couch. 'What?' Xander looked up from a few papers spread across his desk, 'how do you know?' 'Saw them at the mall,' Razor was flicking through a magazine and didn't seem too worried about the whole thing, 'I like her,' he turned the playboy to its foldout section, 'nice neck.' Xander suddenly snatched the magazine out of his hands, 'hey.' 'You idiot we have to prepare,' the head vampire growled. 'Idiot?' Razor stood up, 'I ain't no idiot and if I was why did you bring me here and that leads me to an even better question, how did you get me here?' Xander nodded to the side and Razor noticed Laura walk out carrying some sort of plate, 'Time for dinner?' he asked sarcastically. 'That,' Xander pointed to the plate, 'can warp things through dimensions but it can only be used three times and we've already used it once and we're gonna use it again to send you back.' 'But what if I don't want to go back?' Razor asked standing up and looking carefully at the plate. 'I'm afraid it's non negotiable,' Xander watched Razor prowl around the plate. 'Oh I get it, if we defeat the slayers then you're afraid that I'll kill you and take control,' Razor smirked at Xander. 'I only wish you'd try, you're going back whether you like it or not,' Xanders face morphed into a vampire and he began to advance on Razor who remained still. He was only a few feet away when Razor pulled out his two guns and Xander stopped, 'Thought I didn't know about your little plan, I beat the shit out of one of your helpers as soon as I arrived and he told me your plan,' he grabbed the plate off of Laura. 'I also found out how this works so I'm in control now Xander.' 'You'll be dead by tomorrow,' he growled in response and Razor shrugged while back-pedalling. 'I'll take my chances,' hopping on the motorcycle Razor shoved on his helmet before placing the plate thing away in his pouch and turning on the ignition and taking off into the daylight. 'So much for your brother,' Xander snarled to Laura who shrugged and walked back to the bedroom to sleep through the rest of the day. Giles turned to the other white coats in his group, the only remaining survivors were Oz, Garrett and Cordelia after three others had been killed the night before including Willow and Tara. 'We're going out tonight?' Garrett asked his voice slightly shaky. 'The vampires may still be hunting us down but we have a duty to do to the human race,' Giles explained, 'we'll take the usual route through the forest and try to pick off any stray vampires on patrol around Xanders main base. 'I'm not going out there with vamps all over the place,' Garrett protested, Oz was silent and loading up his crossbow along with gathering the vials of holy water and crosses for their protection. 'Don't be a wuss Garrett,' Cordelia told him. 'Hey go back to L.A,' he snapped, 'oh I forgot your employers dead and so is your little British boyfriend,' he soon shut up when Cordelia slapped him across the face. 'Hey cool it guys,' Oz spoke up, 'we're going out tonight and that's final,' Garrett went to talk but he cut in before he could say anything, 'if you want to stay here that's fine but we've got.an hour so all of us that's going let's get ready,' there were two nods but Garrett remained unmoving, 'then let's move.' Razor watched calmly from his rooftop as the first vamp exploded into a cloud of dust, the second and third were soon to follow as the brown hared girl disposed of all three in a matter of twenty seconds, 'Impressive,' he mumbled, 'but not the one.' Kendra glanced up onto the roof where he was sitting and quickly drew her crossbow, Razor stood up and she noticed him flash a grin before leaping from his roof to the adjoining one and so on until Kendra couldn't see him any longer, 'He'll be back,' Kendra muttered before carrying on down the street. Razor stopped when he was finally heard a noise behind him and turned to see a young girl with blond hair hit him in the jaw as he stumbled backward she drew a stake, 'Buffy Summers,' he rubbed his jaw, 'your even cuter than I remember.' 'Have we met,' she dove at him with the stake but he dodged and kicked her in the back sending her face first to the floor. 'You underestimate me,' she leapt back to her feet, 'I'm no normal vampire.' 'Well I'm no normal girl either,' she faked a punch that he went to block but she ended up sweeping his legs from under him. Crashing to the floor Razor rolled aside as Buffy's stake hit where his heart was moments before, 'Our time will come but it's not gonna be now.' 'Oh really.' He nodded, 'Duck,' he removed one of his guns and she ducked as he fired and a vampire behind her caught it in the face causing him to turn to ashes as well. Buffy looked behind her as the cloud dissipated and back to where Razor was but he was now gone and only a note lay there, 'See ya soon,' it read and she crumpled it in her hand and dropped it. 'Damn vampires,' she mumbled before leaving the roof. 'I am so bored,' out of all the slayers Faith was the only one yet to get a kill, 'I thought this place was supposed to be crawling with vampires,' she twirled her stake on her index finger when a loud laughing could be heard and twelve vampires appeared out of trees from behind cars and out of abandoned houses, every single one wore a huge grin on its face. 'Hey little lady, how you doing,' one asked with a smug voice as Faith readied herself, although she new she couldn't take out twelve of these demons alone but there was also nowhere to run too and she was determined to take out at least half of them. What she was even more unprepared for was a figure jump from the ceiling of the opposite building and pull out two guns, 'Get down it's Razor,' a female vampire shouted but it was too late for some as bullets thudded into their head killing them instantly as others took cover behind cars. 'Who the hell are you?' Faith asked as the clip in both guns ran dry and he let them slide out onto the floor. 'A person who wants Xander dead as much as you do,' he replied as the remaining eight vampires surfaced and charged, he morphed his face into vampire mode and prepared to fight. 'You're a vampire,' Faith yelled as he kicked one of her attackers in the stomach before kneeing it in the face and staking it. 'Very observant of you,' Razor punched one of the vampires so hard it flew back over a car it'd just jumped, punched in the face Razor caught the next swung fist and brought his other arm up under breaking the female vamps arm and then delivered a hard spin kick to the face. 'Man I love this town,' he laughed before Faith went flying into him causing them both to land with an oof as the male vampire strode towards them, 'oh shit.' The vampire was at least 7ft tall and was all muscle, leaping back up Razor delivered four hard blows to its midsection and one to the face but the demon hardly flinched and grinned at him before grabbing the smaller vampire by the head and throwing him into a nearby building. Razor crashed through the boarded up window as the other four vampires followed him in looking to finish him off. 'Hey big boy,' Faith grinned before hitting the vampire in the groin, as he groaned she savagely kicked him in the face and beat him backwards. He recovered quickly though and threw her against a chain link fence before landing two hard blows to her face breaking her soft skin causing blood to appear and run down her lip. 'Not so pretty now are you bitch?' he growled in his low voice, 'a pity to mess up such a pretty face,' he grabbed Faith and yanked her head back and could see the look of pure hate on Faiths face as she gritted her teeth and smashed a small vial into his face. He cried out and fell backwards as the garlic powder burned his face away before he finally turned into dust. 'That was fun,' Faith wiped the blood away from her lip and walked towards the smashed window and peered in. She got a fright when a female vamp jumped into view snarling, she didn't have time to react before the vamp turned into dust, 'oh shit,' she made a fighting stance as Razor jumped through the window. 'Well that was fun,' he mimicked while popping his dislocated shoulder back into place. He noticed Faith standing there eyes narrowed and he held his hands up defensively, 'I don't want to fight you,' his answer was a sharp blow to the nose as Faith drove him back against the wall. Sharp blows bombarded Razor as he blocked a few but others hit his ribs, he fought back with a straight punch to the jaw knocking Faith off balance and he followed her out as she hit him in the stomach with a sharp kick and rolled over his back before kicking him face first into the wall and turning him around. Drawing a stake Faith swung her arm towards his heart but the formally dazed vampire caught her arm and grinned at her before twisting her arm painfully behind her back so she was now pressed against the wall, Razor saw the elbow coming and also caught that and kicked her legs apart so no shot to the groin could be delivered. Using just one hand to hold both of her wrists together Faith squirmed before Razor pulled her head to one side, 'You're the one,' he whispered before sinking his teeth in. Faith whimpered and struggled as Razor watched as all of the colour drained out of her skin before he finally released her letting the lifeless body fall to the floor. 'What a day,' he said aloud before hoisting the body of Faith over his shoulder and making his way back to his hideout. << Back   Next >> |
