INTRO....
Hi There! I'm Chakravarthi. I'm a Design Engineer working for GDA Technologies Ltd. (A subsidary of L&T Infotech) in Chennai.

WHERE AM I FROM?
I'm from Tamil Nadu, the southernmost state in India. I was born, brought up, and spoilt in Chennai. I live in T. Nagar. Chennai is a very busy city, bustling with people. It has its fair share of IT park, shopping centers, and hangout places. We come across three climates here...hot, hotter, and hottest. But hey, we claim to have the second longest urban beach in the world, the Marina. So thats how we have fun in the sun. This is a good website to learn about Chennai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chennai)

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND....
I did my schooling at Don Bosco, Egmore. It is supposed to be one of the better schools in Chennai. I did my undergrad in Electronics and Communications at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Sriperambudur. I took up my Master's during Fall 2002 in California State University at San Jose (SJSU) and was an Intern with  Broadcom. Inspired by Swades, I have relocated back to light a bulb somewhere in India. :D .

GETTING PERSONAL...
I'm a Virgo. I'm called "Keshav" at home and "Chakki"/"Chuck" elsewhere. I'm the only kid to my folks. Dad passed away in July 2006. He used to work for  Enfield India, and had a huge passion for bikes. He was an excellent billiards player. Mom is a homemaker. We are a traditional Brahmin (Hindu) family. Life was tough growing up without siblings, but it pretty much compensated as I had some thick friends and cousins. I generally take my time to move with people. But once I get to know them, its for life. Initially, I was bit of an introvert, but all that changed with my US experience.

I'm not much of a nerd, at the same time I ain't a hardcore party animal. Everything is pretty balanced for me. I'm a vegetarian. I don't smoke or drink. I speak three languages: Tamil, English, and Hindi. I have a penchant for music and can manage to flex my vocal chord a bit. As every Indian does, I too follow a lot of cricket(Its like a religion in this part of the world). I always believe in working my butt off to see success. I.... Ok..Ok..thats enough.

FAVORITE LYRICS
The journey home
Is never too long
Your heart arrives before the train
The journey home
Is never too long
Some yesterdays always remain
I'm going back to where my heart was light
When my pillow was a ship I sailed through the night

The journey home
Is never too long
When open arms are waiting there
The journey home
Is never too long
There's room to love and room to spare
I want to feel the way I did then
I'll think my wishes through before I think again

Not every road you come across
Is one you have to take
No, sometimes standing still can be
The best move you ever make

The journey home
Is never too long
One helps to heal the deepest pain
The journey home
Is never too long
Your heart arrives before the train
