A boutique guest house for the discerning...

trangcity
Trang is the capital of the province of the same name. It is around 900 kilometres from Bangkok and can easily be reached by road, train or air. It was already around in the 7th century when it was a trading outpost for the Srivijaya empire. At the turn of the 20th century the first rubber trees were introduced into the area

Trang has 119 kms of national parks beaches and a formidable collection of nearby islands which are largely undisturbed by development and so retain their natural charm

As well as all the natural features of Trang, it has an English language bookshop, well established health facilities, including modern hospitals and pharmacies, and numerous ethnic restaurants. In short it is a paradise for the traveller who wants to have a rest from the frenetic activity of Bangkok.door Food in Trang is unquestionably the town's greatest lure, and primary social activity, especially at night.

Most visitors to Trang do not dwell on the city however but visit the ocean beaches or the islands off the west coast of the Andaman Sea. Krabi, the Phi Phi Island, Ko Lanta, Ao Nang, Ko Mook, Ko Libong and Ko Hai are all worth exploring. The area is great for swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing under the waving palms on the sun filled beaches. Trang offers the tourist all the pleasures of sun, sea and sand.

Trang has other attractions, many indeed, including the famous St.Valentine's Day underwater Weddings and the Vegetarian Festival. You can check these out by pointing your browser to

Chai's house is situated in a large, expansive garden, which includes a pond and an attractive salah. There is a nearby waterfall which provides a restful backdrop to dining in the garden. The pond is stocked with fish and is also a focal point for lazy sun bathing, or reading a favourite novel.

Chai has two rooms available and is planning to build bungalows in the grounds in the future.

Both rooms contain all facilities, including double beds, fan cooling, refrigerator, wardrobe, desk and chair, and cable TV.

There is also an ensuite shower and toilet in each room.

The rooms are comfortable, sunny and light with a pleasant outlook onto the gardens.

Trang has a lot to offer. It is just a hour by air from Bangkok or an overnight trip on fast air conditioned buses or a leisurely train trip where you can enjoy the scenery on the way.Use the form below for bookings
