As you can tell I'm a huge fan of silvercahir and I'm sorry to say for people that aren't a fan of the 'chair, that most of my site will be devoted to them. I've always been a fan of the guys, but not as much as I am now. When Tomorrow came out I was only nine; I actually remember buying the single of Tomorrow for my big brother Evan for christmas, he would of been 12 then, I used to listen to him play it and thought "hey this is pretty cool!". Since I was still little and more interested in my barbie's, silverchair became pretty much non-existant in my life and it wasn't untill I was in high school (year 7) that I herd their music again. I got into Frogstomp but again I drifted off into other things. When '97' came around and Freakshow was relased I got back into the 'chair and I started collecting the odd newspaper clipping's here and there and enjoying watching the video clips on VIDEO HITS. Then it happened! My best friends (at the time)  and I discovered what a stud Daniel Johns was, I remember walking around my boy deprived all girls high school with "I love Daniel Johns" written all over my arms and texts books, ahhh those were the days. But then something else happened! Hanson (I know it's sad) came into the picture and saddly again it happened, my "husband" Daniel and his band mates disapered out of my life. In '99' when Neon Ballroom was released I became a "born again" fan almost instantly. I remember asking my mum for $30 to buy the album, but was shot down for not cleaning my room and answering back at a teacher at school. I was devistated! Two or so days later I was suprised by my bestfriend at the time (Rebecca), she had shopplifted a tape of Neon Ballroom and gave it to me as a presant because my mum was  (sorry to say mum and they were her words not mine) a bitch. Ever since then I've been a true fan.
As you all know the 'chair had a well deserved break and no-one herd about them, they almost became forgotten. My love for them came back instantly when I saw them preform live for the first time at the 2002 BDO, the atmosphere was sureal! It was about 7:15 pm and I was chillin out in the grand stand of the main area,  where the main stage's were, after an exhusting day of moshing and walking around. A chill ran down my spin, and at that moment I herd the Star Wars theme song (Im pretty sure it was Star Wars, but I can't remember) boom out from the stage as the 'chair walked on and played their fantastic set. Aaahhh remembering it brings a smlie to my face :o)
