The Vines get cancelled on The Jay Leno Show
A live television appearance by The Vines has been cancelled after the band reportedly trashed the set during their soundcheck. The band was due to appear on the Jay Leno show before singer Craig Nicholls started to smash up the set. The band were cancelled and instead became the subject of Leno's opening monologue.
this sort of stuff sems to be becoming a normal occurance when it comes to The Vines. craig did the same thing at the MTV arwards, (trashed his quitar), was trashing everything on stage in the 'OUTTATHWAY!' video clip, and was also running a muck at a reccent preformance for Channel [v] at Fox Studio's. i must say i am quite interested to see what he does at bdo. dispiste this, their debut album, Highly Evolved, is one of my favourite's at the moment. its mellow, yet..........um....well i can't really discribe what its like. some songs go off and all you want to do is wish your in a mosh pit goin crazy. but then the mood changes, and you feel like you lying in a field of long grass dazing off. completly different senarios i know, but its a cool album, deffiently not one to miss!

i got informed today, by my brother Evan, that "The Vines are just another "tryhard" band that are trying to copy Nirvana." personaly i don't think they sound anything like Nirvana, but i accept everyone's personal oppinion. i must say though, whats the deal with craig looking off his face everytime he preforms? he seriously looks like he's soo doped up that he can't keep his eye's open. dispite all this, i still love The Vines and hope that all of you get to listen to them. anyway i have to go now, i know there isn't much bout them, but i will add more.
bye
