THE TROJANS

Huh-huh-huh-huh! I said "Trojans!"

After the Greeks seized Troy, most of its nobility fled to different parts of Europe. Aeneas, the prince of Troy, settled in Italy where his people became known as "Etruscans." His grandson Brutus was kicked out of Italy for some reason, and he and a few Etruscans and Greeks settled in Britain and established the city of Caer Troia, which later became Caer Lud, which later became London. One of the tribes of ancient Britain were the "Trinovantes," which lived near London. See the resemblance in the name?

The French are another descendant. The tribe that once ruled France were known as the "Franks." They were descended from Francio, the grandson of Priam the last king of Troy. And also, one of the Celtic tribes in Gaul (France) was called the "Parisii," which gave the city its name "Paris." Paris was named after Priam's son Paris. The Etruscans had likely settled in Belgium and Eastern France. Also, some of the Vikings were descended from the surviving Trojans.
