James Seymore Carnes
James Seymore Carnes, or better known to his fans (especially the ladies), as Jimmy Salsa, is the latest edition to the CME family. Born in the backwoods somewhere near Harmony, Texas, Jimmy Salsa was constantly getting in trouble growing up. Known to his school mates as a bully, Jimmy finally began to take his anger out in other ways. After beating sticks against the walls of his room for over a year, his parents finally bought him a drum set just to save their sanity. Lucky for them, Jimmy picked up on the drums quite quickly, and would play them in school concerts at the high school level, even though he was only 12. Two years later, Jimmy's parents got fed up with it and told him no more playing the drums. That caused Jimmy to run away from home at the age of 14 and playing in clubs across the country to earn enough money to make it to the next city. Knowing that alot of the venues wouldn't allow a 14 year old kid in the bars, he got himself a fake ID and continued his trek to California. After finally getting his break with the band Roxx Joker, he left that band to try out for Motley Crue (after Tommy left). Failing that attempt, he continued to play in different clubs and bars around California. Then his biggest break of all came. Chains was visiting the Whisky a short time after Jeb's death and came across Jimmy Salsa, working part time there. After a few drinks and stories later, Jimmy got his chance to audition for The CME. Lucky for him, Chains loved his style, and gave him the gig.
