We are a close knit community of friends made up of all races, creeds and colours. We come from many lands and speak in many tongues. We care not which class or race or polarity you are or which god you speak with in your private moments. We care not whether you are uber or unkempt. What we do care about is honour, friendship, truth and loyalty.
Our members take time to help others, whether the person in need of assistance is a full member of the guild or a distressed newbie makes no difference, assistance will be rendered by whoever is capable. All members are ambassadors of the guild at all times and all members will act with honour and compassion towards those they meet along the way. Our guild tag is worn with pride and is visible at all times.
No matter how long or arduous a journey you undertake, know that you need not walk alone. From around corners, over hills and under mountains, our people will fall into step by your side as you progress along your chosen path, assisting, teaching, imparting wisdom and tactics as we walk. We leave none lonely or unaided and we leave none behind.
Members are encouraged to speak their minds and to make their feelings known. We value feedback whether it is positive or critical and encourage free thinking and freedom of speech. We ask members to be true to the guild and to be true to themselves. Humour is actively encouraged, particularly in difficult situations, for without a sense of humour all is lost.
The founder members are all old friends in Norrath who have been through the wars and know each others strengths and weaknesses. We grow by inviting new friends that we meet along the way. Prospective members should bear this in mind and seek us out to gain our trust and respect. Respect must be earned, it cannot be freely given without becoming valueless. The currency of respect is honour, friendship, truth and loyalty. These traits are valued by us above all others. New members will be subject to a 30 day probationary period, during such time they will be allowed one alt (alternate character) to be tagged as well.
Guild resources such as spells, runes, weapons and armour will be made available to those of an appropriate level, class and race that can make use of them. Weapons and armour are to be returned when that slot is upgraded. The guild banker will welcome donations of items and will distribute for the good of the guild. Cash loot and items not immediately distributed from a raid stay with the guild and are used to further all our progress. Track is kept of current items, outstanding items, current cash and outstanding cash. Any member may ask the current status of the guild resources at any guild meeting.
From time to time, excess cash and/or items will be distributed at events or given as rewards at the discretion of the officers. Examples of circumstances relating to a reward would be for behaviour that has furthered the reputation of the guild or for a particulary elegant solution to a problem, or for the most novel ideas. Ingenuity will always be rewarded.

1. We are our proud of our guild tag. We do not cover it up - ever. Use /roleplay instead of /anon if you need to hide your class and level.
2. No member shall beg for money or items whether in guild or in /ooc. If you require a service (such as KEI, AEGO etc.) then offer to pay for it. If a PC is asking for donations then a donation is mandatory.
3. All members MUST comply with Sony®'s Play Nice Policy.
4. You are an ambassador for Chained Chaos at all times. Do nothing that would bring the name of the guild into disrepute. (And do everything you can to further it!)
5. Guild Hierarchy is established for a chain of command and problem resolution. Listed from top down...
6. In an altercation or disagreement the guild leader or senior officers decision is final.
7. A guild banker is available and will accept donations for re-distribution throughout the guild. This includes armour, weapons, spells, runes, pages, words etc. Requests may be made to the guild banker for items from any member. Any items recieved from the guild banker are to be considered on loan and returnable on upgrade. All cash outstanding to be repaid.
8. Etiquette - Be polite in your requests for assistance both within the guild and without and be ready to graciously accept a refusal. Thank people for assistance received. (Sounds basic but politeness can get you anywhere in this world.)
9. Swearing and abuse.
10. Be true to yourself and be true to your guild. You were picked because you are the best of people; let this come across in all the dialogue you type. NEVER lose your sense of humour.
11. This is a game. Enjoy yourself in what you do but never at the expense of others. It's their game too.
