Saturday In the morning I got up for my last run in Ottawa for what will probably be for a week. I packed my running gear in case I do happen to go for a run while Im in PEI; but well see if I actually do run. I called at cab at 10am and went to go pick up Lynn. I finally got to meet her boyfriend, which wasnt what I was expecting at all. This guy was big and broad and not what I pictured her being with. This guy was just not like her at all. I pictured a really pretty boy type. But this guy was like rough and tough looking.
Anyway, we cabbed it to the airport and yadda, yadda, yadda we checked in and waited to board the plan. This was my first time at the Ottawa International Airport. I wonder why they included the word international in the title anyway. Its not a very large airport. Anyway, I was excited needless to say. I could wait to get on the plane and get to PEI! PEI is the farthest east Ive ever gone in Canada, so this was going to be really cool.
While waiting in the seating area these two pilots showed up. They were both cute looking, and rather young. One of them was really young, like around my age. But a 26 year old pilot? Im sure it happens eh? Well he was cute! A little on the skinny side, but cute. He was tall, taller than me, which was hot. He had short dark brown hair, almost black. It was kind of wavy. He had brown eyes, and a nice smile too. Of course he looked incredibly HOT in his uniform! Boy, were the porn "cock-pit" scenarios running threw my head! I wanted to get a closer look at their uniforms while I was boarding, but Lynn slowed me down. I thought I was never going to see him again.
Well, we get on the plan and youll never guess what. He was riding as a passenger and he sat right next to us. I had a window seat and Lynn sat on the aisle and the young pilot sat across from her. I got to check out his ass cause he let some guy have the window seat. It was okay, Ive seen better. Of course I strained my eyeballs to steal sideway glances of his package again, there wasnt much to see. LOL
The plane was really, really small. Im sure there wasnt anymore than 25 people on board. It was a propeller plane too. We were only flying to Montreal so Im sure it would have been a waste to have a larger plane. I was starting to panic because the plane was so small and I really felt closed in. My claustrophobia was really kicking in. Plus the plane was humid on board which didnt help me out at all. But I calmed down at bit, the cabin started to pressurize and the AC came on.
Taking off is always an interesting feeling. Its just so weird that such a heavy piece of metal and steel can even get off the ground. It just blows my mind. I do understand aerodynamics, but its still mind boggling that such a huge thing can get into the air! I like how the force pushes you back into the seat and then seeing the ground shrink beneath me.
The flight was scheduled to be 35 minutes. We were flying at an altitude of 8000 feet or something. The flight was really short. We basically got up in the air, then started to descend after weve achieved 8000 feet. It was foggy in Montreal, so I didnt get to see too much of it when we were landing. We had a 90 minute lay over in Montreal before we caught our next flight to Moncton, New Brunswick.
This is where I met the first rep, although this rep was only appointed last minute AND the reason why I didnt get my own suite at the hotel. He was scheduled to take the same flight as Lynn and I. The funny thing that happened in Montreal was that Lynn called Terry, the N.B./PEI rep to see if everyone arrived in Fredericton. He said that Ginger, the BC rep hadnt arrived and that she had missed her connection flight. We didnt know where Ginger was! Terry said that Ginger was flown to Montreal where she would be flown to Moncton.
So Lynn tried calling Ginger on her cell phone and no one answered. So Lynn tried again to leave a message, but this time there was an answer. I was sitting next to Lynn listening and I Lynn asked, "Where are you?" and then she said, "You can see me?" and then I looked around and I see this girl in the corner waving her hand. I thought it was funny. Lynn got off the phone and walked over to her. The funny thing, is that we both saw this girl curled up in a seat sleeping moreover Lynn said she noticed the girl too, but didnt know that it was Ginger.
Our plan was beginning to board and the rep from Saskatchewan hadnt showed up yet. We were starting to get worried that he would miss his flight. But he showed up, he looked typically from the middle of nowhere and doesnt travel much. His name is Kelvin, and it was everyones first time meeting him. We jumped on the plane which was a bit bigger. Im sure it held as many as 50 people and it was a turbo jet plane. This plane flew at an altitude of 30,000 feet and the flight was scheduled to take 1 hour and 25 minutes. I just read my book, which by the way, I have about 200 pages left to read.
We set down in Moncton and most of the student council was already there!
Terry, N.S./PEI rep
Albert, Manitoba rep
Stephanie, Ontario rep
Patricia, Northwest Territories rep
Wes, Northwest Territories rep
There are more reps, but they were driving straight to PEI and I didnt get to meet them until way later. And they are:
Winona, Quebec/Lab. rep
Jean-Claude, Quebec/Lab. Rep
Jaime, Nova Scotia/Newfoundland rep
We had to wait for the remaining reps to arrive and they were:
Nelson, Alberta rep
Nicole, Alberta rep
Terin, Saskatchewan rep
Andy, Ontario rep
It was exciting to see all the reps in person. For the most of them, all I had was a voice to go by. So it was really weird. I was really nervous because most of them already knew each other. So I really felt out of the loop. However, there were some new reps so I didnt feel too bad. I was really surprised to see how cute Andy looked. I dont know what it is about him, but hes really cute and just sweet. I could sense it with my sixth sense that this guy was different.
To make a long story short, we got our rented vehicles and packed them up and took off. The ride was long and I was really anxious to get to PEI; although it was nice to see some of New Brunswick. There is a long bridge that separates NB from PEI, and it took us about an hour to get to it from the airport. It took us about 12 minutes to cross the bridge, so thats how long the bridge was. And theres a toll too, but you only pay that when you leave.
The landscape in PEI was really weird because there was red sand and dirt everyone! In the fields and on the sides of the roads. It really looked fake! I just couldnt get over it. Anyway, it took us an additional 45 minutes to reach Charlottetown. The good thing was that our hotel was really easy to find since it was on the way in.
When I first saw the hotel, I was a little shocked. It looked so dumpy. I was a little disappointed. Needless to say, checking in was hectic. There were too many people trying to get rooms all at once. Plus we revised the room list so I could have my own room for the first night. Mark, the rep from Yukon wasnt arriving until Sunday morning. But thankfully, we got everyone into their rooms.
My room was okay. Well actually it sucked. It looked like a run down place. I have my own bedroom and living room and a small kitchenette, but it smelt like old smoke, which really drove me nuts! It stunk. The air-conditioner I had in the room looked like the first every AC ever invented. It was really noisy too. I didnt bother unpacking because my room only came with one bed. And I didnt want to put Mark on the pull out sofa. So I knew that I would have to switch the following day.
The first order of business was to get something to eat. Since Terry was the NB/PEI rep he knew Charlottetown and took us to a favorite restaurant of his. It was called Seatreats. It was a seafood place, so which meant that I wasnt going to have a huge selection of food to eat. I ended up getting a grilled cheese sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. I figured I might as well go all out.
After dinner, we went back to the hotel. I took a shower because I was getting hot because it was blasted humid in Charlottetown, and here I thought it was going to be cooler than Ottawa! After my shower, I was too tired to do anything else. Plus I was feeling a little homesick already. I felt all alone in a little ghetto hotel room. So I called mommy and daddy! I told them that I arrived okay and gave them my first impressions of PEI. I talked to them for about 15 minutes and hung up. After that I read more of my book before I finally turned off the lights to sleep.
Sunday I had intentions on getting up early to go for a run, but then backed out of it because I didnt want to go running somewhere where I didnt know where I was going. So I just got into the shower and got ready for the meeting. I took my time getting ready and Lynn was at my door by 8:30am. She was checking to see if I was awake. She really wanted to start on time.
I didnt get the chance to have breakfast, but Lynn said I could order something and bring it to the meeting room. I ran into Ginger on the way and she wanted to go to a store to buy some clothes. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention what happened to her. Like I mentioned before, she missed her connecting flight in Toronto. It wasnt her fault. Her plane from Vancouver didnt leave on time. It left an hour late, which made her miss her plan from Toronto. So they sent her to Montreal to catch a plane to Moncton. She knew that wed all be there anyway. Even so, she was in contact with Terry and he would go and pick her up. So to add to the trouble, her luggage was lost, it was in the middle of nowhere and she didnt get it when she landed in Montreal. So on Sunday, she still didnt have her luggage and she didnt have any clean clothes and she wanted to go buy something. I could understand though, she had already been in her current clothes for 2 days, so she didnt want to make it three. Long story short, Stephanie lent her some clothes and she wore that.
I on the other hand went to the restaurant and ordered some blueberry pancakes. I was starving. I did get a glimpse of the first semi-cute guy in Charlottetown. His name is Wyatt. He looked really, really gay. He also didnt have an ass either. Like I said, he was semi-cute. I knew that I would be seeing better looking guys else where.
Im not going to bore you with the meeting. It was interesting and boring at the same time. So Ill just skip over the whole thing. Except for lunch that is. Ginger, Stephanie and myself took off downtown. We went to this restaurant called Lobster on the Wharf. Not my first choice, but what can you expect when you go to an island where Lobsters are plentiful? Anyway, I was only momentarily disappointed until I got inside. Inside was the most gorgeous guy on the island, and his name is Andrew. Ahh, drool, drool. This guy was incredibly hot. He just had these killer eyes, and beautfil hands, and nice skin and such a manly build. He had brown hair that was some what short and wavy. His smile was okay, Im really big on smiles. A smile can really make a guy look sexy. He had some gaps in his teeth, but the rest of him compensated for it. And let me tell you about his ASS! Day-yum! It was perfectly round and I couldnt keep my eyes off of it! I could have gotten down on my knees behind him, reached up with my arms and grabbed the front of his thighs, amongst other things and just buried my face between his round bubble butt and took a bit of one of his cheeks! It was that nice. He had unbelievably nice legs, you could so tell beneath those sexy black waiter dress pants he was wearing. Andrew was completely HOT!
I tipped him big time. One for his incredibly nice ass, two because he smiled back at me after I spent forever smiling at him, three because his fingers brushed against mine, and four because he was SEXY and had a HOT ASS! I mean is there a need for another reason? Our lunch ended quickly and we had to get back to the meeting.
Oh yeah, Mark finally showed up. He said he was really tired because he was suffering from jetlag. He was 4 fours ahead or something like that. Theres a four hour difference from Yukon and PEI. Anyway, I changed rooms for a 2 bed suite. I didnt want to flip for a bed or anything.
We were on our own for dinner. So after the meeting I went back to my room and took a shower. A small group of us decided to meet out in the parking lot to go for dinner. Some of the youth council were off to an executive meeting, and others were invited to go along. But some of them didnt want to go, so Stephanie, Mark, Andy and myself decided to go get something to eat together.
We went to a Chinese restaurant downtown called Canton. Terry highly recommended it. It was good, although it was difficult to get a vegetarian meal. Everything had meat in it. Although I didnt mind consuming a little bit of chicken. So I got some chicken fried rice, which didnt have much chicken in it. And I also got some chicken balls I just like the sweet sauce that comes with it. Stephanie did most of the talking, she talked and talked. Which was good, cause I just sat there and ate. Andy asked all the questions. I finally asked him all his questions back. Hes from Sault Saint Marie, and he runs a few websites, does graphic and web design, I cant remember where he went to school. He use to live with his mother, and was only raised by his mother. He has lots of friends that are girls, and is more comfortable with the opposite sex.
After dinner we went to an ice cream shop called Cows, I got some frozen yogurt stuff. I didnt want to risk having stomach problems with dairy. Everyone except Mark got something to snack on. He was getting pretty tired. During our ice cream chow down we decided to make a trip out to Cavendish beach. We even offered to drive Mark back to the hotel so he could get some sleep but he said he was getting his second wind.
Before we got on our way to Cavendish, we stopped at a Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up some stuff. Both Andy and Mark needed to pick up some shampoo and what not. I needed to use the bank machine so I did that. Oh, and thats the crazy part. I thought I would never be so lucky in receiving free cash, but I did. I used the bank machine and withdrew 60 bucks. The machine started to grind and make this funny noise, then 2 twenties come out criss-crossed and I thought, great now Im short a 20. But then the machine kept on going, and 2 more twenties came out. I thought, JACKPOT!
I bought a disposable camera with free money. I went back into the car where Andy was already sitting. This guy is really cute and I couldnt help but glance at him during the meeting that day. He just looks so cute, he has a very boyish look about him. Deep brown eyes, and these little pouty lips. Hes very friendly and started to refer to me as his co-pilot.
Mark came out next, and the three of us got the idea of moving the car into another spot and watch what Stephanie does. We didnt park to far away and she saw us right away. We didnt leave right away because Stephanie and I went into the Blockbuster that was right next door. They were having a sale on DVDs. Unfortunately, the didnt have anything good to buy. When we got back outside, Mark had stole my seat which made me mad!
The drive out to Cavendish was great. Stephanie did a lot of the talking, but we also did a lot of sight seeing too. When we left Charlottetown, the sun was shinning and it was fairly clear skied that evening. But on the way, we ran into some real dense fog. I was afraid the beach would also be fogged in. But it cleared up, strangely, and it was sunny out. It was odd hanging out with Andy and Stephanie. They knew each other, and I really felt at home with them. It was extremely comfortable hanging out with them. Andy made a funny joke in the car, the heat was on and it was getting warm and humid inside. Mark had turned on the heat or something by accident because he was tired and getting cold. Anyway, Andy says: "Gee its hot in hear, I feel like Im in a sweat. Im starting to have visions". I thought that was pretty funny. I laughed. Or perhaps it wasnt too funny but laughed because I was charmed by this handsome boy who was sitting in front of me.
We got to Cavendish and the sun had started to set. The beach was full of red sand. I havent seen anything like it before in my life. It was really something. It was like being on Mars or something. I took a few pictures of everyone on the beach. I even took some pictures of Andy posing in front of the sunset. We walked around the sand and even touched the ocean water. So now Ive officially touched both oceans in my life. Strange feeling, going from one coast to the other. I went to San Diego a few years ago and touched the ocean water there.
We walked around for a bit and Mark was dragging behind us. He said he was really getting tired. Since the sun had already set, and it was starting to get dark we decided to leave and come back when the sun was out again. Oh, before we left, Stephanie did the funniest thing.
We were all feeling a bit tired. I know I was. Everyone went to the bathroom before we all left. The two guys went towards the bathroom and went into one door. Stephanie went into the next door. From a distance, it looked right. The guys went into one door and Stephanie into the other. I kept on walking and looked at the neighbouring building which was only 10 feet away and saw a few women go in. It suddenly occurred to me that Stephanie went into the wrong bathroom! I asked Stephanie about it when she came out. She said she saw the two guys go in one door and just assumed that the other door was for girls. She got inside and saw a guy at a urinal. The guy looked at her and said: "nice". She ran out. It was really funny.
The ride back was mostly in the dark and the conversation was centered around me. Not by purpose, they just had tons of questions for me. So I chatted my head off and that made the ride shorter. First they wanted to know which community I came from and that turned into a guessing game. Andy knew more about where I came from than Stephanie. After that we talked about movies; Andys favorite movie is Goonies. I had a hard time figuring out what was my favorite movie. We talked about music and of course that led to a conversation about Janet. We talked about her whole nipple thing and I mentioned how MuchMoreMusic used my question on their show.
We made it back to the hotel and Mark disappeared. I think he went to go to sleep. Stephanie, Andy and myself werent tired and wanted to do something else. Terry suggested that we go to his room and play some cards. He wanted to gamble. The others wanted to do it so I went along with it. Andy, Stephanie and myself jumped into the car to get some change to play with.
We stopped at a gas station called Irvings to pick up some snacks. They also had a bank machine inside. This is where I saw the next cute/hot guy in Charlottetown. His name is Mike or Micheal. I later found out that he wore two different name tags. This guy was a big grungy looking, but clean grungy. He had dark brown wavy hockey player type hair. That was really hot. I really like that look on guys. He was tall, at least 6'3". He had brown eyes and he wore glasses which just made him look plan sexy. I especially loved the little get up he had to wear. He wore a red uniform shirt and a pair of dark navy blue dress pants.
I was going to buy some brownies but found they had expired. So I didnt want to buy them. Mike put them behind him, and thats when I got to see his nice round butt. He bent over and damn was his back fine. Nice and round and his pants were kind of tight too, so I got a really good view. It was hot. I so could have jumped the counter and massaged my groin along his back side. I love how tall he was too! Mike was certainly cute in my books!
After we got out cash, we still needed to find a place that would give us change. Andy remembered seeing a laundry mat so we went there. It was still open, but on the verge of closing. We got 60 dollars worth of quarters.
We got back to the hotel and Terry was setting up his room for some cards. Andy went to his room and changed into something comfortable. I grabbed a glass and chair from my room and brought that to Terrys room. And then, the games began. Patricia, the rep from NWT showed up later and gambled a little. Shes a very cute girl. Very shy and reserved. She wanted to play bingo, but we made her play some poker. She lost whatever she brought to the table, then she disappeared. She came back about an hour later with more money. I think as much as 10 dollars more. That disappeared as well. I was the first one to lose all my money, I think I lost as much as 40 dollars that night. I left the game around 1:30am or so. We played for about 2 hours or so. I was really tired. I went to bed while the other three continued to play.
Monday I woke up kind of late. I wanted to get up a bit earlier so I could sit down and eat my breakfast rather than have it delivered. But no such luck. I also didnt get up for a run either. I wanted to, but didnt do it. I didnt set my alarm anyway, so I just happened to get up when I did. Mark, my roommate kept on sleeping. I didnt bother to wake him at all.
I had to go and order breakfast and had it delivered to the meeting room again. They didnt have a huge selection on breakfast so I ordered blueberry pancakes again. Wyatt was there, hes so gay. And hes not even that cute anymore. Just tall and gay. Hes even a supervisor, which is surprising. Anywhooch, my breakfast takes forever and it finally shows up and the lady who brought it to me says I could get a partial refund on my food for such a long wait. I thought that was cool.
For lunch, I didnt have anyone to eat with other than Lynn. Ginger joined us and we went to the hotel restaurant. Wyatt served us. Lunch, was lunch and nothing exciting happened. Wyatt turned out to be a really big bore, and such an incredible geek. Total turn off. I wish they had much hotter waiters there.
For the evening, I didnt plan anything because most of the guys where going off to a meeting and then dinner. They were all invited to a special dinner and I wasnt invited. So Lynn and I went down to the Delta to drop some of the guys off. I went and basically stood around. There was a piano there so I started to play. Then this strange looking guys walks up and he introduces himself as some historical character. I cant remember who, not that it matters, this guy was kind of cute! He was dressed in an old fashion three-piece tuxedo with top hat. He introduced himself to me and for the life of me cant even remember his name! Which is a shame because he was cute too. He said his job is to walk around and talk to people about his character. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, he dropped out of character to have a discussion with me. Thats when he told me his real name, which I have forgotten. He had a buddy doing the same thing and he came in later. I wish I knew more about history cause I would have introduced myself as an adversary of his, if his character had one that is.
Well, Lynn and I finally got out of there and we decided to grab something to eat. I suggested Mikes because they always have excellent pasta dishes. But I felt bad about eating more pasta cause I had Fettuccini for lunch. The service at Mikes was terrible. Very slow. Lynn and I talked about the council and I tried to give her some ideas, but shes not a very good listener. Im starting to get a good view of how she thinks. I think shes getting jaded by working in the bureaucratic sphere too long. Shes getting pessimistic with "well that wont work".
After dinner she drove us back to the hotel. But, before that we went over to Irvings, where Mike works. Remember him? He was working again. This time he was shelving stuff. I of course had to go check him out. I was able to see his entire body this time, since it wasnt hiding behind a counter. He is so tall. I like that. He has nice long legs, and his butt looked so HOT in those nice slim fitting gas uniform pants he was wearing. I just wanted to sit behind him and stare at it. I even noticed that the bottom of his pants were unhemmed and starting to rip up the outer seams. It was kind of erotic, you know I could grab the bottom of his pants and rip them right up to expose his legs and thighs, and ultimately his ass and package! Whew, Im all hot and bothered now.
I was flying solo when I got back to the hotel. I didnt have anything planned and no one to hang out with. So I just changed my shirt and went for a walk. I needed to find a computer so I could check my emails. I wanted to try and get in contact with the one guy from Charlottetown. He said he wanted to get together and that he would show me around. So I started walking down the University Street because I knew that I had seen a internet caf somewhere down the street. I made a pit stop at Future shop to see what movies they had. I bought The Core one of the disaster movies that I wanted in my collection. It was only $11.50, so I figured why not?
It was humid out so I was starting to sweat pretty quick. My first thought was to catch a cab down. Charlottetown doesnt have a transit system, so I couldnt catch a bus downtown. Besides, I didnt think where I was going wasnt that fair. Boy was I wrong. I must of walked for about 30 minutes before I got there. And the place was closed. Thankfully, the guy inside let me check my email anyway. He was really friendly and asked me all kinds of questions about my work and why I was there. I sent an email to Chuck, and he replied back right away. He gave me his cell number and I told him that I would call him in about 15 minutes. I paid the guy 2 bucks and ran across the street to catch a cab back.
I used the phone in the lobby because I didnt want the hotels phone number to show up on his call display, that is of course, if he had call display. We talked briefly and we decided to get together on the next night.
There was still nobody around so I just went back to my room and tried to call Kim and Jonathan. They should have arrived by now. I left a message at Kims room to have her call me at my room. After that was over, I just plopped myself on the couch and watched TV. I was starting to get really tired, it must have been the humidity.
It wasnt until around 10pm that Kim and Jonathan finally gave me a call. I convinced them to come over to my hotel cause there was a little bar called the The Smugglers Jug in the basement of the hotel. They came over right away because their hotel was just down the street from mine. I was still exhausted though. I didnt want to go the pub that was at our hotel and tried to convince them to go further down the street; but we ended up turning back and going to the pub at my hotel. It was an okay place. I took a picture of Kim in front of the sign, I kind of thought it was cool. She didnt stay with Jonathan and I for very long. She looked really, really beat. So she ended up taking a cab back to her hotel.
It was kind of weird to sit with Jonathan alone in another province. I think hes still cute, even though hes straight and dating some asian chick. We didnt really talk about much other than a short discussion on politics. Most of which I didnt know anything about because Im not from out west. We also talked about Kim and how she was starting to drive poor Jonathan nuts. Hes really hoping that she doesnt end up being a drag all week. Jonathan started by buying me a drink, which was sweet of him. I bought the next round and by then the bar was closing down. I think it closed around 12am or something like that. I went to bed after that. Jonathan walked back to his hotel.
Tuesday This was the first day of the AGA. I got up extra early because Lynn wanted to be there early because staff was suppose to be there that early. I decided to get all dressed up for the occasion. I brought my suit, but didnt bother wearing the jacket, but wore everything else. Kim and Jonathan arrived at my door on time. Last night, I told them that we were leaving around 8:15am, but we didnt end up leaving until 8:40am or something.
I didnt even get a chance to have breakfast! I was starving. I still didnt run either. I got up to early and didnt get enough sleep since I was up pretty late with Jonathan. I didnt do a heck of a lot that morning, I just walked around and was introduced to the note taker that they hired. My job for the next three days was to assist her in anyway she needed.
The only highlight of the day was that Ajay was there and he was dressed up. That guy is so HOT. He has beautiful eyes, and I love his lips, and hes always nice to me. Hes always acknowledging me. Its so sweet when he does, it makes me all giddy inside. All I can do is flash my little bashful smile and flutter my eyes at him. Anyway, Ajay was wearing dark navy blue dress pants, and blue dress shirt and matching tie. He looked incredible! I wish he would just come up to me and ask me out already! There isnt too much of a summer left!
The Conference centre was extremely hot and I was happy that I didnt wear my full suit. My morning was pretty boring and dry. I just sat there and got peoples names. I took a few strolls over to visit Kim and Jonathan, but I couldnt do that too much because Lynn got upset and told me to stick close to the note taker. URG, I dont want to get started on that, but Lynn never sat around! She was busy walking around!
Anyway, for lunch the entire council decided to eat somewhere and someone had the bright idea to leave it to Jaime to led the way. Of course the idiot takes us on a long drive to a Wendys! They were in a car and there were only 4 of them. I was in the blazer with Andy, Wes, Patricia, Nicole, and Terin. Wes had to sit in the back because the truck was full. Anyway we went to this restaurant called Piazza Joes. I actually have a picture of it! Piazza Joe's is the building with the green neon lighting around the trim.
We didnt have much time so we ate up quickly. I joked that I was going to order grilled cheese, which seems to crack up Patricia a lot. She calls me crazy, and she just gives me this funny little smile. I did however, order some veggie quesadillas which were delicious! I think we got back to the convention centre around 1:30pm or so.
Blah, blah, blah, the afternoon was totally boring! The end of the day sucked for me because I got ditched at the convention centre. I had to take a bus home. Well actually that was kind of cool. The organization rented these coaches to transport people to their hotels. So I got a ride in this big coach all by myself. I was pretty mad of having to sit in one spot all day while Lynn walked about talking and smoking at her free will while I sat there doing nothing.
I didnt plan anything that evening because I knew that I would be meeting this guy named Chuck later. So basically, we planned for me to call him between 7-7:30. Which I did. Everyone else went down to the Delta for some sort of dinner. I took a cool shower and changed into some comfortable clothes. I then went to the neighbouring hotel to call Chuck and have him come and pick me up.
It was rather disappointing because I had to wait from like 6pm to 7:30pm when I called Chuck and then he said he would meet me at 8pm. I didnt eat and I was getting hungry. So I just sat around in the lobby of the hotel for like 30 minutes. He finally arrived and I met him outside. He was older than I had imagined. Plus he didnt look very comfortable. I didnt know what to do, so I just went with the flow. We ended up taking brief drive around Charlottetown. He showed me some old houses and took a quick drive along the boardwalk. He drove me past the Irvings mansion, which was a touristy thing I guess. We finally went to the other side of downtown before he offered me a ride back to the hotel.
I got back to the hotel around 8:45 or so and I was starving. I tried calling Kim and Jonathan but I knew they would be out doing other things. So I was really bummed out. I wasted almost my entire evening on this closeted freak that just wasnt interested. Oh well. I was starving and didnt want to go anywhere alone so I ordered some pizza. Except, that I didnt have any cash on me so I had to go use a bank which, I didnt mind because it gave me the opportunity to check out Mike.
Mike was of course there, Mike was wearing a different name tag though. It said Micheal this time around. He was still wearing his snug butt and thigh fitting pants, which I couldnt keep my eyes off of. He looked so scruffy which I normally wouldnt find attractive, but I found it sexy. I think it was because he was an island boy. He must be my age. I walked back to my hotel and tried to find a Pizza, Pizza number, but couldnt find one. It didnt dawn on me until I got back to Ontario that Pizza, Pizza is a Ontario pizza place. So I ordered Dominos instead.
I was eating my pizza, actually just finishing it when I hear a knock on the door. I opened it and found Wes standing there. He asks me if Terin was there or if she was hiding. I said no and pointed towards where her room was. She was standing at her door laughing. I closed my door and sat back down and someone knocked again. It was Wes again and he invited me down to Terins room. I said okay. I put on my shoes and grabbed my glass bottle of coke and walked down to her room.
Did I tell you that the soda comes in glass bottles on PEI? Isnt that the weirdest thing? Glass bottles, and they are shaped like beer bottles too! Which is even more weird. So I go down there and Patricia, Terin, Nicole, Eva, and Andy are there too. Wes had the keys to the blazer and wanted to go for a drive. Wes, Patricia, Terin and I were the only ones who wanted to go for a ride, the rest just wanted to hang out in the room.
So the initial plan was to get something to eat. So we made a trip down to Dairy Queen. I asked Patricia and Wes if they have ever been to a Dairy Queen. I had to laugh, at first Patricia answers no jokingly. But theyve been around and seen almost everything that I have. But I was just kidding with her. On the way to Dairy Queen, Patricia sat in the front, but after we left Dairy Queen, she offered me to sit in the front seat. I was reluctant to take it, but finally did. The girls sat in the back and I sat with Wes up front.
We still didnt have a game plan, so we just ended up driving to nowhere in particular. We made Patricia throw out our garbage in someones garbage can on the side of the road. It was funny. It was a lot of fun hanging out with that crowd, all we did was act stupid and just laughed. I even embarrassed Terin. We were driving down this street and it was a dead end. And for some reason, Terin said, thats a tight end? And I just said, thanks, I work out. Everyone laughed in the truck. It got a bigger laugh than I expected. Of course that was the small joke of the next couple of days.
Another big one was the whole 'coke' thing. I said that I dont drink any booze, just coke and that was enough to get me going; that it was all that I needed. Anyway, it was more funnier there than here. Of course there was also reference to the actual drug too.
One hot topic was finding out where I came from and how old I was. Patricia guessed my age right on, but said that I was only 18 years old. Then Terin was like: "I shouldnt be flirting with you since your so young". I backed up my lie with, "And thats why I dont drink, Im too young!" They believed me, but told them I was actually 26. And I was the oldest of the group. Patricia was 21, Wes, 24, and Terin was also 24.
Wes got tired and we headed back to the hotel. When we got back to Terins room, we still found Andy hanging out there. When we left him, he said he was tired and was just going to go to bed. But he was still awake. The rest of us just went to bed. It was getting late and there wasnt much more we could do.
