A close-up of the grouse on my car. There was actually another on the trunk as well as one down by the tires. This shows how close we got. Actually, Krissy took these, I was petrified.
Finally, a decent picture of the mountains themselves. The lake is Jenny Lake and this was the beginning of a lengthy hike around it.

This was a rather poor attempt by me to show how tall the trees where. They were pines that were amazingly slender and tall for how much wind was coming through off the lake.
