Well, as of now, it is this website which is attracting my free time. I have been working upon a new concept called top20things.
Dot com boom came and got busted. It got busted, primarily because it was much before time. Only those websites succeeded which were very useful or had deeper pockets. There is no denial in the fact that these eventually have to succeed. Check now and you would not find one site where you could compare, check and buy items or your desire. Like some of the sites out in the west, like pricerunner.co.uk, www.lastminute.com, like www.bestbuy.com, www.compusa.com, www.circuitcity.com, I am sure many such sites would be popping up in India anytime soon.
Some travel sites are already being success now. www.irctc.co.in (online engine to check and complete train reservations) has shown many a way, that people do want to spend money over Internet so long as it takes away their pain and provides some benefits. Well, thats what top20things.com is intended for. It should ease down life for people who google quite a bit. Though, google succedded big time to ease people's life, it still at times is difficult to search a few things of your desire. I am aiming to add more ease. The idea is certainly great, but implementation is certainly uphill task.
The idea is always to create "simple" stuff but to create anything which is simple, complex algorithms need to run at the back...
