Miyazawa, Hiroyuki (�c�A�v��)

Father of Yukino Miyazawa, Hiroyuki is a very loving and protective father. He is the guy who sometimes appear in the series wearing a "I love my daughers" t-shirt. He loves his family very much He met Yukino's mom, Miyako, when they are both little kids. Then later they saw each other again in high school, and developed a relationship. Miyako's dad, Kohashi-san, was against their relationship due to some reason (now still does), but brave as Miyako, she still loved him despite the bad condition and was the one who confessed her love first. She supported him when he was facing the death of his beloved grandfather (or is it another relative?). He married her as soon as she finished high school. How sweet! Hiroyuki absolutely cannot stand Asaba Hideaki, since he thinks Asaba is a playboy. Hiroyuki is ever so furious when he sees Kano and Tsukino hangs out with Asaba... Those two act very funny when they confront each other! ^^;;

Miyazawa, Miyako (�c�A���]�l)

Mother of Yukino Miyazawa, Miyako looks a lot like Yukino back in her youth. She was very strong, brave, etc. She and Hiroyuki were acquaintances ever since childhood, and he met her again in high school. They fell in love, but Miyako's dad was against it. Hiroyuki was very unhappy and felt that she was too good for him, but Miyako insisted to stay with him even though her dad was furious at her. After she finished high school, they married and had 3 daughters. Now you can't really see the strong personality in her, but it is said that Yukino is very similar to her in many ways.....(there goes the example~)

Miyazawa, Kano (�c�A�᳥)

Kano is the youngest in the Miyazawa family. Her name in japanese means "flower". Kano appeared more often than Tsukino in the series, especially in the beginning when Yukino isn't dating Arima Souhijiro yet. Back then Yukino was very confused about her feelings toward Arima, and Kano told her to "go for it". Although young at age, Kano is quite mature and often understand other's feelings without them telling her. Also, Kano is a dedicate fan of one of Yukino's companion, Aya Sawada 's novels. During the bunkasai (annual school festival in which the students held booths, shows, etc to show what they learned in the year, and sometimes act as fundraisers.), Yukino introduced her to Aya, and she called Aya sama (a respectful way to address another person, usually to a person in higher social position or of an older age), which made Aya "shudder".... ^_^;;

Miyazawa, Tsukino (�c�A�볥)

Tsukino is the middle girl. Her name means "moon" (note: Yukino's name means "snow"). Tsukino is a much quieter person comparing to her sisters, but she can be a real pain (to Kano) sometimes. In the anime series, there is this special act about Tsukino pulling a prank on Kano. She made Kano thinks that she is in love with her stalker, which is actually a girl (too complicated to explain here; go to episodes section for a full summary). Tsukino, when with her close friends and family, can be really outgoing...and wacky sometimes. She and her younger sister are basically inseparable. They like to dress like twins, and often hang out together. They go to the same school, in which Yukino does not attend.

Kawashima Sensei (?? �Ѯv)

He is the head advisor for the karekano kids' grade. He was also against Yukino and Arima's relationship. This was because those two are the top students in their grade, and after their relationship blossomed, their marks dropped significantly. He is actually very concerned with his students (or he wouldn't try to stop their relationship). But when Kawashima Sensei meet with Yukino and Arima's parents, he did not seek any agreements in them, since both side's parents believe their kids are rightful to love (?) Although he generally oppose the idea of the two together, he lets it go later. Also during the bunkasai, when Yukino was asking for a room to rehearse their play, Sensei-K did not hesitate to lend them a room using his power ^^ So maybe he is strict, but I think he is a pretty nice teacher.

PeroPero

The pet dog of the Miyazawa family. This guy (yes, PeroPero is male) does nothing at all, but he is just totally adorable to look at. Act as the comic relief in the story.
