Pixel's are a big trend at the moment and this tutorial will help you to be a part of it :)
Pixelling is pretty easy...here we go
1 As you are just learning pixelling, I suggest choosing an easy picture to start with. I'm using this image of Squidward :)

<2> You now need to create a new layout. Layers > New Raster Layer You need to zoom in on the image so you can see the outline clearly. Slowly outline the image using the paintbrush. The size of the brush should be 1 and normally the colour you use will be Black (#000000)

Sorry about the rubbish quality
4 The next step is to press CTRL+C to copy and then CTRL+P to paste. Now what you shall see is an outline of the pic :)

5 Now we have to colour in the picture. Pick any place to start colouring. (Keep the original pic open too) Use the magic wand to select a part.

Now fill the selected part with a dark shade of the colour you will using. Now go to Selections > Modify > Contract You need to set the number of pixels to 1 Now fill it with the colour that is used on the original pic

You gotta follow these steps for every part of the image :) Here is my finished pixel =
