~ Five steps for a great summer ~
Five steps to a sexy summer! *yay* lol
If you use this, you MUST credit me OR ELSE!
Step 1: Get strokeable skin
If your going to be showing off your skin in strappy tops and shorts, make sure it's glowing with health.
If you've been keeping covered up all winter, your skin could be a drab colour due to a build-up of dead skin,
so invest in a good body scrub. Rub generous handfuls over moist skin in a circular motion, then rinse away to reveal a well-buffed bod!
Step 2: Be a smoothie
Defuzzing is a fuss when you've got more skin on show than normal. Here are the best ways to stay hot and hair free... If you've got to get ready in a rush..try Shaving
This is a quick and easy option. You'll notice regrowth after a couple of days and it'll look and feel bristly, but it's handy if you've made last minute plans.
Always use a shaving gel or foam though. If you're off on holiday..try Depilatory creams
These can be fiddly, so only use when you've got enough time as most need at least 10 minutes from start to finish.
It'll be about a week before hair starts to reappear and it'll grow back with a tapered end, so it looks finer and less noticable. If you want summer-long smoothness..try Sugaring
Sugaring is pretty similar to waxing, but without the hassle of heating anything up.
If you follow the instructions carefully, your skin will stay smooth for up to six weeks. As with depilatory creams, sugaring will leave your hair to grow back with a tapered end and so look finer.
Step 3: Plump up
Holiday make-up is best kept simple, and nothing looks more gorge than fresh faced summer skin.
To get a super-healthy glow gently massage Exfoliating Facial Treatment, on damp skin, then rinse off with warm water.
Pat your face dry and apply a skin pumping moisturising mask. Now your ready to face the world!
Step 4: Get flip flop fab feet
Beach babes always team strappy sandals or funky flip flops with smooth, sweet smelling feet, so give your tootsies some TLC.
Use a foot file to gently rub away dry hard skin, then relax with your feet in a bowl of warm water for five minutes.
Then see off any remaining dry skin by scrubbing feet with an exfoliator. Now dry your feet thoroughly and file your toenails into a square shape with an emery board.
Finally, slather them in a rich cream, then slip on a pair of cotton socks. Leave these on for at least two hours (or overnight) and when you take off your soks, you'll skin will be silky soft!
Step 5: Get glowing
If you wanna look great in your summer gear from the very first day, a bit of bronzing can do wonders for your confidence and tanned pins go perfectly with sassy short skirts.
Fake tan is the safest and easiest way to add colour to your skin so heres how to do it....
For the most natural looking fake bake, start by applying a rich body moisturiser to any bits you don't want to tan too much.
Elbows, knees, the soles of your feet and your ankles tend to be a bit drier than the rest of you,
so be sure to moisturise them well or they'll suck up the self tan and turn a nasty shade of orange!
Use a generous amount of self tan on your body - you'll need a 50p sized dollop for each arm, leg and your front and back.
If you use too little..it's more likely to streak!
Concentrating on one area at a time, blend in, using long careful strokes.
It's worth taking your time over this bit to make sure you get a natural-looking even colour.
If your fake tanning your face (and you do want it to match the rest of you right?) use a product made especially for the job.
Apply the stuff all over your face, avoiding eyes and smooth it evenly over your neck to avoid unsightly lines. Gorgeous!!
