My Favorite NC Vacation Spot
Sparta, NC is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway that stretches from the western part of NC to the northern
part of VA. Sparta is a beautiful place that is very laid back and entertaining.
Sparta offers quaint shops, small-town hospitality and pride. From
hiking and horseback riding, to canoeing and motorcycling, as well as unique events such as lawn mower racing
and fiddling competition, there's always something to do.
Things to do include:
- Attend Hillbilly Jubilee
- Raft down the New River
- Fishing and Hunting
- Parades every month
Things to bring:
- Chair to relax in
- Money for shopping and food
- Fishing pole
I would highly recommend Sparta as a vacation spot in NC to anyone
