VII  The Beatle's Lyrics & Poetry

"That's how you do it... You hear people say stuff, or hear a phrase that sounds good and you write it down and remember it." George Harrison
I have the learning objectives for each section listed above the activities and topics proposed for that section.
Objectives
1. The students should be able to differentiate between poetry and prose.
2. Students should be able to identify the following terms associated with poetry:
Verse, meter, stanza, rhyme, rhythm, foot
3. Students should be able to write at least three different poems.

In this section you will have the opportunity to learn about poetry.  Lyrics are
considered a type of poetry, and The Beatles wrote some of the best lyrics of
the 20th Century.  Now you can learn how easy it is to become a poet or a
lyricist.  I look forward to reading your poems!
