Personal Information
Hello everyone!  My name is Mary Ann Fornataro but all of my students call me Ms. Four for short.  I was born and raised in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania.   I attended high school a very long time ago.  I have been an avid Beatle fan ever since they arrived in America on February 9, 1964.  Yes, now you can say "WOW! She is old!"  I have seen different performances with Paul McCartney and Wings, George Harrison and orchestra, and Ringo & his All Starr Band.  Unfortunately, I have never seen John Lennon perform.
Although my baby is only two years old he is also a big Bealte fan.   His name is Marshall Karma, and in addition to The Beatles he loves kittens, Blue's Clues and trucks.  He is the joy of my life!  He was lucky enough to see Ringo & the All Starr Band before his second birthday.  His favorite song was "Yellow Submarine."

Educational & Employment Background
I graduated from West Hazleton High School in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, a very long time ago.  Directly after high school, I attended West Chester University and the University of Oregon for my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Arts (English, Speech, & Drama).  After graduation I worked in Disneyland.  Several years later,  I returned to West Chester University and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Instructional Media.  I decided that I was tired of scraping ice off of the car and moved to Florida.
After graduation I worked in Walt Disney World as a chipmunk and other assorted characters.  In 1980, I began teaching secondary school in the daytime for Orange County Schools and working the Electric Light Parade at night.  I changed my day job in 1981 and began working as the Television Production Coordinator for Valencia Community College in Orlando.  I also worked as a free-lance videographer for Audio Visual Production Studios in Apopka, Florida.
For family reasons I moved back up north for nine months, 1987-1988 school year, and was an elementary media specialist for the Pennsville Area School District in New Jersey.  I loved the job but the weather was brutal and I moved back to Florida.
I moved to Boynton Beach in Palm Beach County, Florida, in August of 1988 because I wanted to live by the beach and teach secondary school.  I have taught for Palm Beach County Schools since then.   I taught television production for the first four years in Palm Beach County and then I moved into the media center.  I like working in the media center because I get to meet a lot of students with various interests.

My Collection
As I mentioned above, I've been a Beatle fan for many years.  I was lucky enough to save all of my Beatle memorabelia and I have a big collection of all things Beatle.  Below is a photo of part of my collection.

Many new collectibles are available in the year 2000 because of the recent re-release of the movie "Yellow Submarine."

Other Web site
My interests are reflected in my Websites as they include collectibles, live music, and The Beatles.  I am an avid collector of any thing that deals with The Beatles, Betty Boop, Felix the Cat, The Wizard of Oz, old movies, hand carved wood figures, Disneyana and more! I also love Beatle trivia and if anyone has a trivia question out there I am ready !
My other Web site is called Mary Ann's Guide to Popular Toys, Collectibles, & Treasures.  It is an A to Z list of popular toys & collectibles with links to information concerning each topic.  It is available at:  http://www.geocities.com/Athens/Bridge/1374
