This course is divided into ten units. Students should plan to spend at least five hours (or more, as skills, interest and time permit) exploring and examining Internet sites and related materials. Off-line activities include reading additional materials obtained from the Public Library and preparing assignments. Students are asked to participate in as many chat sessions as possible. If a student misses a chat they should inform the instrutor and will be given an additional assignment if necessary. Students are to select an activity that interests them for each of the assignments. Students should try to complete at least one Unit per week. Students will be able to monitor their academic progress throughout the course and complete an evaluation of the course upon completion. |
